Chapter 1: a reoccurring dream

The sound of silence filled Hope's room and the dark starry atmosphere seeped through her curtains. Hope was asleep, asleep in a dream she dreamed was real, more than she dreamed it would stop reoccurring. Hope had been having the same dream for a week now. In this dream she would be being chased by shadowy figures until she fell to the floor, then a boy, about her age, would hold out his hand and help her up, the dark figures would leave the moment they touched. Hope enjoyed the dream, well moreover she enjoyed the boy and how he saves her. But this time, this particular night, things changed...

So there she was, running from the shadows in the exact same way she did every night. But it felt wrong, it felt like she was climaxing to the wrong event, climaxing to disaster. The moment came when she tripped, and there he was. But as soon as her foot got caught on the tree stump, a black whirling void appeared behind her, she screamed louder and louder before she knew it she was screaming in her sleep. The boy reached out to grab her hand but before she could take it she was pulled into the hole. She screamed out to him
"FIND ME!" She yelled as she threw her charm bracelet at him.
"GAH! NO NO NO NO!" Hope screamed. She was awake, in her bed.
"NO no! TAKE ME BACK! Take me back..!" She smacked her pillow in dispair. She looked down at her shaking hands. There, where her bracelet was, was the words "I'll find you, Noah." She repeated them until she realised...
"Noah, Noah, that's his name... Noah, I'll wait, as long as you come" She whispered, startling herself at how she's fall into a character from a dream's arms... but somehow, it felt right
