Alizhah's P.O.V.

Makeup stains her pillows, like the blood on her sleeve from when he busted her lip. She hadn't been to school in two weeks, and wasn't answering her phone, no matter who called or texted. So when i got the text I rushed over.

"Did you b-bring it?" she asks, her voice weak. I nod and hand her the small knapsack I had brought with me. She opens it and looks through it, pulling out the items one by one. Some pencils, paper, the assignments she miss and two extra things i added, a huge pack of Sour Patch Kids and some weed, rolling paper, and a lighter. She smiles weakly and hugs me. 'She's lost weight'

"Thank you, Alizhah." She whispers. I hold her gently.

"No problem, Kenny" I whisper. I let go of her and she sits on her bed.

"I need to get out of her." she says, tears in her eyes.

"Then lets go, while he's gone, I can get the tracker off your phone and keep him from seeing your texts and location." I say, hoping she'll listen. She nods.

"Just let me get some stuff." she says, handing me her phone. She leaves the room and returns with a small duffle bag. I work on getting the tracker off. She starts throwing clothes into the bag. I see her grab a few boxes and bottles with some strange looking symbols from her bottom drawer.

"Hey c-can you get the key from my dresser?" she asks. I nod and grab the key, tossing it to her, forgetting she is bad at catching things. She laughs when she drops the key then picks it up and opens the bottom drawer of her desk, pulling out a drawstring bag with more of the strange symbols on it. I'm about to ask what they mean when her phone buzzes.

"Shit, that's him...." she grabs her phone from me and answers it.

"What Clark?" she snaps.

I hear mumbling from her phone.

"Oh hell no I'm not calling you dad, not after the way you keep treating me"

Angered mumbling noises.

"Bye dumbass!!" she yells and hangs up. She tosses me her phone and I finish getting the tracker of the phone. I hand her the phone and check my watch.

"We need to go, like, now." I say. She grabs her bags and nods.

"Let's go." she walks out of the room. I follow her outside and she throws her stuff into the back of my car. We get in and i pull out of the driveway.

"So where to?" she asks.

"Well first of, we need to take your stuff back to my place-"

"Who says imma stay with you?" she smirks, trying not to laugh.

"Do you have a better idea?" I laugh. She shakes her head and laughs

"Nope."
