At the Sertori's house, Cleo was in her room. She texted her friends to meet her at her house. About 10 minutes later they were there. "What's wrong Cleo?" Rikki asked. "I-I saw L-Lewis with C-Charlotte." "That cheat!" Rikki replied. Just then Lewis walked in the room smiling to himself. "Hey Cleo." He seems oblivious to her tears. They all glared at him. "What's wrong with Cleo and what did I do this time?" Cleo told him what she saw. "Cleo, it wasn't what it looked like."
A long explanation later, they were talking about Charlotte, when the devil herself walked in the room. "Girls, I finally got my tail back and you will pay for my downfall. Since you like being mermaids so much, I will make you one forever." With that she stuck her hand out. They thought nothing happened but she had a smile on her face. Then she went away.
"She must be trying to scare us." Rikki said. They all agreed. "Let's go for a swim." Bella suggested. When they got back from their swim, Rikki tried drying them off but nothing happened. "Charlotte must have been serious which means that we're... Permanent mermaids!" Rikki concluded. "What are we going to do?"
