And just so you know, this wouldn't be possible without one of my most awesomest friends ever(Viha(Quite the mouthful I know) (And yeah, I just made up a word, shoot me.) So yea that's about it. Enjoy.

Another amazing day of school, I thought sarcastically. With a huff, I got out of my black BMW, which my "parents" were so kind to gift me for my 16th birthday, and slammed the door as the frigid Denver air hit my face. I put in my ear buds and smiled as Fall Out Boy's new album started to play. My grin quickly disappeared as the school's queen bee, Tiffany Rodgers, headed towards me with a sadistic looking smile. I let out a sigh and cursed silently under my breath. She and her brainwashed posse were my main problems in school, besides the teachers.

"Hi!" My wall of thoughts broke as a girl shyly put out her hand for me to shake.

"Hello..." I replied back coldly as per usual when speaking with someone I didn't know. The girl was slightly taken aback and she paused as if to recollect her thoughts.

"Do you know how to get to room L444?" Before I could respond the girl continued on. "Because this is my first day and I just moved from England so I was wondering if you could help me out?" The words tumbled out of her mouth with rapid speed. I looked to her quizzically and she blushed slightly while smiling.

"Who's she?" Tiffany asked with that annoyingly fake voice she used when talking to people of lower status. The voice she spoke to me in everyday. "She was just asking how to get to her class," My voice made its appearance for the first time, surprising both Tiffany and the new girl.

"Which looks to be the same class I have." Tiffany started to say something but I interuppted cheerily " Bye Tiff!" Tiffany huffed and stalked away sending dirty looks back to me and the new girl.

"Sorry about Tiffany. She likes to make peoples life a living hell." I apologized sincerely.

"I didn't catch your name" the girl asked lightly."It's Johnny," I said with a shrug, "wait, I didn't catch yours either."

"Mine's Janelle," she stated with a smile as she proceeded to follow me to class as the bell rang.

"And over here is geometry with Mrs. Cypher." I said as I pointed towards the classroom door. "Oh..." She drew out the word, almost like a question. "Yeah." I replied as I reached out to grab the doorknob. I pushed open the door and held it open for her."Thanks," she replied."Take your seats!" said Mrs. Cypher, "Alphabetical order by first names, as always."Janelle and I took seats in the second row as Mrs. Cypher started writing down the formula for distance on the board. She turned around to face us while she was explaining, and her wise eyes rested upon Janelle."It seems like we have a new student. Everybody, this is Janelle," she said enthusiastically, "would you like to tell us a bit about yourself?"Janelle stood up to face the classroom full of bored teenagers. "Hi everyone. First things first, I'm from England, Liverpool, in case anyone was wondering. We moved here because my mom and dad died in a car crash, and now I'm living with my aunt," she said casually, "we live over in The Woods. My last name is Thompson, and I have a scottish terrier named Marco."
"Thank you Janelle," said Mrs. Cypher, "and now on to our lesson."After this I tuned Mrs. Cypher out and focussed on drawing. I was sketching a creature that had been in my dreams lately. The creature was.... Horrifying. It looked like a cross between a griffin and a bear which soared across the sky spewing fire and destroying my town and everyone I knew and loved. This was where my dream always ended and I was always powerless to stop this evil monster. The pencil I was holding slipped from my hands and, as I went to pick it up, I saw Mrs. Cypher behind me assessing my drawing. "Busted..." I heard snickers from around the classroom. I gritted my teeth, and clenched my fist under the desk as I glanced at Janelle, who tossed me a sympathetic look. "Johnny, can I see you after school?" Mrs. Cypher asked, even though it wasn't really a question; more of a "If you don't see me after school, then you'll get a detention" kind of question."Sure," I mumbled as the bell rang. What choice did I have?
