I let out a sigh, my white pale hands sliding into the soft, cotton built holes in my jacket, which had a skull on the back. My green high tops scraped across the pavement, I winced everytime rocks slid under my feet, and an eery noise came from the rocks meeting cement. Astra, a well built Whisper, with smooth skin and a smile that could make any girl crush, finally caught up to me. "How are you, Mariana? I mean other than the temptations of the night?" He raised a brow, almost as if he was trying to piss me off. "Unlike you, I don't have night temptations, and am NOT tempted to even step foot outside. You're a Whisper, not a Demon, so you need to act like one." Shaking my head I sped up the pace of my walking, blocking out the sounds of the pavement and my shoes. Astra, once again, caught up to me. With on swift jerk of my shoulder he had me inches from his face. "I will act like who I want to act like, I didn't choose to be a damn Whisper!" Though 'Damn' put the tension in his words, his voice remained calm. "Then do so, but you don't have to try to change my mind about who I want to 'act' like." I shook my head once more, pulling away, but he didn't let go of my jacket. Pulling with all my strength, he still didn't let go, but the jacket did, it slid right off, revealing my pale white arms. The shirt I'd chosen was a black T-shirt with two black wolves which had crystal optics on the front. The shirt fit tightly around my curves. I could feel Astra close behind me, as he turned around, still walking, and stuffed my jacket into his backpack. I crossed my arms, that had hard, pointed goosebumps forming along their white surfaces. I reached into my one strap bag pulling out Blue Rasberry flavored lip balm. Tracing it over my already light pink lips, Astra finally walked silently by my side. We were like brother and sister, we fought, then made up, fought, then made up, but something was different about this fight. "Sorry Astra, I shouldn't have been trying to tell you what you should be acting like.." I murmured. I waited, and waited, and waited, then finally, he opened his mouth as if to speak.
