We all have our own ways of dealing with things, and when it comes to losing something that once was a big part of your life, it leaves a hole. If it was filled with good memories and has a big enough impact on you it can leave you with an unsatisfying emptiness. Leave you grieving. If something has a big enough impact on you, you will never forget the love and joy that this something gave you, but at some point you'll need to block yourself off from the pit sadness and depression your life became, as your whole world was ripped away from you, right before your eyes. One day, you will wake up, and you will no longer remember the sadness you once felt. You will no longer remember what this something did to make your life be reason you looked forward to waking up in the morning. You'll just remember the good feelings you had when it happened. The overwhelming emotions that you were once filled with when this something was in your life and when this something happened. This something is what I have to leave behind. This something is what I'm about to lose. This something was my whole life... This something... This something, is my family... This something, is my past, weather it be good... or weather it be bad. Hi, I'm Emily, and it's time for me to move on... Because I am a survivor!
