It was a day like every other. The day I first laid eyes on her. I was a sophomore in highschool and she was a freshmen. I had always taken chorus, even in middle school. But that's not when I first saw her. No. I was walking to class. All of the sudden I lock eyes with what, to me, looked like an angel. She is beautiful with a brownish brunette hair color. The most beautiful smile you could lay eyes on. She has a little freckle around where the smile line is near the top lip. And her eyes, OH the eyes. It's as if the stars themselves sparkled in her brownish greenish eyes. She was all I could think about. For the sake of the story her name will be "Kaytlin".
Most people would just walk up and introduce themselves. Not me. When it comes to potential relationships or girls I have an interest in, I'm very shy and lack the confidence to hold a conversation for more than 3 minuts without making a complete fool of myself. So imagine me, 6 foot tall at the time, a little on the heavier side but not fat, just staring at this beautiful girl. Automatically my anxiety shoots up 12 notches. Not only do I have anxiety but I'm also absolutely clueless as to if a girl I'm interested in is interested in me back. Like if she doesn't come out and say I like you too I will stay guessing no matter how many times she compliments me or smacks me with hints. Any way, she gets within 5 feet of me and I pathetically wave. Automatically I think to myself "REALLY!?! ALL YOU COULD DO IS WAVE!?! Not even a, Hey, or ANYTHING AUDIBLE!?!?"
So I continue to class thinking I've made a complete fool of my self when realistically I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. But what I didn't know is this was far from the end.
