Chapter 72-Vegas Part 2

"So we were planning to go out tonight. There's an event going on at The Swing night club." Kathy tells me and Connor from across the table.

"Really what for?" I ask and begin to eat as the food is brought to us. I see Connor from the corner of my eye on his phone. I elbow his side because he was being rude. He puts his phone away quickly and listens as John talks.

"Oh just a new promotion at work. Its for my friend. He decided to celebrate here" He explains and waits alongside Kathy. Connor squeezes my inner thigh and I close my legs tightly. He retreats his hand and eats.

"Well me and Connor would be happy to join you" I tell them without asking Connor if he would like to go. They were the reason we were here so it would be rude not to join.

"That would be lovely." We finish our breakfast and John and Connor pay. We walk around the strip and go into M&M world as well as the large Coke soda place.

"Hey we should buy matching pajama bottoms " I point to the pair of red coca-cola pajama pants that had the glass soda bottles printed on them.

"Hell no" He says taking one look at them. I grab the two sizes that would fit us and walk over to the cash register.

"What are you doing"

"Buying them what does it look like I'm doing" I say in a duh voice. He walks over to stand in line with me.

"Oh yeah and who's going to wear them" He crossed his arms and I smiled at him.

"I was planning on wearing them with my hot boyfriend but I decided I could find another person." I say and look up ahead and see I'm up next.

"Okay but no one else is going to catch me dead with those on" He gives in and I smile paying the lady.

We walk out of the fresh place and into the hot sun hand in hand. I was carrying two bags. The other bag contained souvenirs I was bringing for Charlie and Colten. I thought it would be a nice gift to give since I hadn't spent much time with either of them lately. We walked around a bit and watched the water show. We finally headed back to the hotel after our feet were aching.

"Hey have you seen my red lipstick?" I ask and Connor points to the product laying on the floor. I grab it and apply it on.

Connor was ready minutes ago. I had just finished my hair and make-up. We were running a bit behind due to the long nap we both took. I fixed my purple dress I had on and sprayed some perfume on. I walked over and put on some deodorant. Checking things off in my mind I was ready to go. I grabbed my case that contained my phone and money along with all my credit cards.

"Let's go?" Connor asked standing up. I nodded and walked out the door making sure I had the room key with me. We met John and Kathy out in front of the hotel and apologized for our tardiness. We arrived in a limo and entered the place without anyone stopping us. The security guard eyed me and Connor suspiciously but John told him we were with him.

"I feel so out of place" I say into Connors ear. He nods and we look around at all the middle aged people. We follow John and Kathy to take a seat on a couch. A man that looks like he's barley hitting 40 has his arm slung around a young girl that looks a few years older than me.

We all shake hands and introduce ourselves. The girls eyes travel down Connors body and jealousy immediately rises above me. I make sure to sit closer to him and he snakes his arm around me. The conversation goes into how the man got the place going. I had already guess he was the owner. Connor and I felt so young because everyone was talking about politics and great big ideas.

"Hey wanna go over and get a table" He whispers in my ear and I nod. We excuse ourselves and we to sit on some stools. A waiter walks over to us and we give him what we wanted to drink for the night.
