Jacks attitude in this story is a combination of a jokester, a smart ass, an asshole all the time when not talking to his mother/ father or when on a mission, he'll always have a wisecrack to say ( see hellsing ultimate abridged to see what i mean because i got this from that alucard ), and he will always help those in need. On his very first mission jack was forced to shoot a couple of innocent people when they were taken hostage and when he was about to walk back to hellsing manor he stopped and looked at the people he shoot through the heart ( pun not intended ) and turned them into a vampire and brought them with him back to the manor where he got reprimanded by his mother.
Below are pictures of the two people he turned into vampires

Yes jack is gonna have a thing for redheads and brunettes, and these two will be with him as his wives and underlings when the time calls for it.
