Chapter 1. My Life

Nova's POV:

It's an ordinary day at Natural Hunt High. But my life is different. I'm Nova. A vampire. It's hard to hide your identity that you where born with but I can make it work. People don't even know that vampires exist, and its releaving. Normal people don't wanna know what it's like to go to a public school and try not to take anyones blood. I have two best friends Alannah and Taylor. Alannah and Taylor always tease me about this boy that I like... A lot. Me and him are really close.. In a way. His name is Jesse. I've had a huge crush on him ever since middle school. My friends don't know that I have had a crush on him for that long. I'm a libra. Now that will tell you a lot about myself. I don't have a lot going on in my life everyday. Just trying to control myself. But this is only my third week in a public school and I think I'm holding up good.... So far :). "Nora over here!" A voice called from behind her. It was Taylor. Of course I ran over there to say hi. "Hey, have you seen Alannah anywhere?" I said without question. Taylor interrupted," She said she's not coming today, family business I guess.""As always," I facted. Alanah is in a business family. She doesn't miss school unless business. The bell rang. Me and Taylor walked in and the first face I say was Jesse's. His handsome face over whelmed me and I ended up skipping a step on the stairs. I dropped my books everywhere. "Here, let me help you," Jesse's beautiful voice spoke. "Thank you so much," I replied. I felt my face being red. I never feel this way around him. Maybe it's him or I'm just weird today. Jesse spoke, "No problem, and hey before you go I'd like to see if you wanna skate with me on Friday?" Oh.... My....... Lord..... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I can't believe he asked me that. Every Friday some of the school would go to this skating ring, and I was one of those people. Acting all "cool" I said," Yeah sure, I'd love to." For some reason I felt something in my stomach. I told Taylor I had to use the bathroom. No one was in the girls bathroom except me. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that my fangs where out. I panicked and figured out that they came out when I walked in. The taste of Jesse's calone took my breath away. I couldn't believe it. Then I realized. Tomorrow is Friday.
