Part 4 ... Dillema

Min Ri's POV ... 《 In the Office - 5th floor 》

As I listened on the response Keisha is giving to Mr. Kim which is the Publishing Owner that we are trying to deal, I can sense that the dilemma that we have is still there. And with the looks that I can see from our teamates, it is unbearable. With all the effort and hardwork that they put in here will be wasted? because of some issue like this? So I had an idea, I tap Keisha's shoulder to call her attention. I signal her to put the phone on speaker and she did.

I cleared my throat and start talking "Annyeonghaseyo, gim seonsaengnim. Nae ileum-eun Min Ri" I said introducing myself to him

"Ahh ne." He said

"Nega gajigoissneun gigyeui jonglyuleul algo sipda?" I asks him if what type of machine they have

He didn't respond right away. Maybe he is thinking if what for me to ask it but after not a long time he answer me anyway, "Eum, geulabia Inswae gihyeyeyo." 

Wow! His answer lifted my hope. "A Roto" I said outloud

"Are you familiar with that machine?" Yeye asks

"Well, it's the same machine that we operate in my Aunt's Publishing Company." I respond to her which heard by evetyone, including Mr. Kim on the other line

"You operated It? How was that possible?" Mr. Kim asks from the other line, sounding so surprised.

"Uh, well I was ask the same question before, but really don't know the answe." I told him, honestly

"Well then, tell me how it works nor being operated." Mr. Kim challenge me. Oh well, I'm all in.

"Well, In gravure printing, an image is acid-etched on the surface of a metal cylinder—one cylinder for each color—in a pattern of cells. The cells are recessed into the cylinder, unlike or letterpress where the printing image is raised or like offset printing, in which the image is level with the plate." I pronouned long and stopped "Should I continue?" I asks Mr. Kim

"Yes please." He said with conviction. So I continue 

I took a deep breath before continuing. "Now, while the cylinder is etched with cells of different depths. These cells hold the ink that is transferred to the substrate. The dimensions of the cells must be precise because the deeper cells produce more intensive color than shallow cells. The cells are filled with ink, and the non-printing portions of the plate or cylinder are wiped or scraped free of ink. Then paper or another substrate is pressed against the inked cylinder on a rotary press, and the image is transferred directly to the paper, unlike in offset printing, which uses an interim cylinder. The engraved cylinder sits partially immersed in the ink fountain, where it picks up ink to fill its recessed cells on each rotation of the press." I stopped then said "So, -"

"I need you to go here, now! I will be waiting for you." Mr Kim said and after that he hanged up

I lifted my head and saw the others drawing a smile in their face then after that ....

"Kyaaaaaahhh!" they said in unison

"Yeeeaaaahhh!" they still said in unison

"We did it! Min Ri did it!" Keisha announce while jumping. All I can do now is smile and watch them.

"I'll be going now guys. Time is running and Mr. Kim is waiting." I said to them. They then stopp from their noises but didn't stop smiling.

Keisha offer to join me but I decline her offer and told her to stay here and continue with the things that needs to be finish and I assure her that I will call her if ever I needed any help or anything, she agreed but call one of the Company driver to send me to Mr. Kim's office. I took my leave and head to Mr. Kim's office.

While I'm on my way to Mr. Kim's office and sitting at the back of the Company Car I am looking outside thru the Car window. "Nalssiga neomu johda!" I said loud, just enough for the Company Driver to hear and he agreed to it. He even said that this kind of weather will almost happen everyday since it's Spring. So I still have almost 2 more months to experience this weather, since it's just April. Spring in Korea is from March to May. So my timing going here is perfect! I so love this weather but not as much as I love Winter. After almost an hour drive we finally reach Mr. Kim's Publishing Office. As I entered the Company, someone approach me right away and lead me to Mr. Kim's whereabouts. 

Yeye's POV ... 《 In the Office - 5th floor 》

I am now in the office and working my headsoff but no complain though. I love what I'm doing! Specially these kind of moments, getting ready for our new babies future. All these hardwork will surely be worth it! I'am excited to see our new babies hit the stage and be recognize. I'm just hoping that everything is going well in Mr. Kim's Publishing Office. I hope that Min Ri is the God given answer in our sudden dillema.

"Ye? Any news from Min Ri?" Keisha asks from a distance. I shrugged my shoulder as a 'No' answer and she just nod and step out from the Room with loads of stuffs in her hands.

"What do you think is happening there?" suddenly Jun-woo show up from nowhere and asks me.

"Well, we will know once we receive an update from Min Ri." I told him while giving him a chinita look

"W-wae?" he asked stuttering "Mwo? Mwo?" he asks again

"Tsk tsk! You are intense?" I told him keeping my chinita look to him while stepping closer to him while him stepping back. "You are acting extra weird Jun-woo." I didn't stop teasing him. He is just so cute when he is nervous and being teased! I am working with him for 2 years now and since then I got familiar with his moves and attitude.

We were just cut ... when the phone on the table starts ringing. I pick the phone and answer the call

"Yeoboseyo?" I said answering the call. And to my gladness it's Min Ri. She called to let us know that she and Mr. Kim had an agreement that she'll be the one to operate the Machine to complete the posters and all before the given deadline. And from now on she'll be directly going there instead here in the office to accomplish it on time. She also said that she had the Company driver go back here in the office and she'll just commute everyday in her way there and going back to her home. After our conversation I deliver the goodnews to everyone and ofcourse, as expected everyone let out a loud scream and everyone decided to have a team lunch. But somehow we felt sad because Min Ri isn't here to join us. But we all sent her a message in our group chat, thanking her as our saviour! She's really an angel sent from above! And seemed that she was sent just on time to be our saviour from this sudden dillema.

For the rest of the day we work hand in hand to ensure that everything that was left in our care will be taking care smoothly. No one dare to slack off or do some ways ways since we have no right. Specially Min Ri is working alone in Mr. Kim's Publishing Office. And she will be doing that not just today but for like a week or two. We just really hope that she won't get tired, specially to think that it was just her second day today at work and we don't even yet able to throw a warm Welcome Party for her as a new Employee and member of our Company and department. And yet her work is already full load.
