"Elliot! Get up!"
I sigh. Another day of school- or as I call it, Hell. I quickly change into a gray top and black jeans. I walk into my bathroom brush my teeth, and walk downstairs.
"Mornin', Elliot," My moms boyfriend, Hayden, says. I never liked him. He's always out drinking when my moms working. And when I try to tell her, he always hits me that night.
I ignore him and grab the plate of eggs and toast out of my moms hands. "Morning, Mom," I sit down at the table far from Hayden. I start eating as my mom walks over to me.
"Bye, Ellie," My mom kisses my cheek. "Love you. Call me if you need." She then walks over to Hayden and kisses him. I turn around as I want to puke.
