RAVEN'S POV
Summer is ending and school is starting. My goal for my freshman year is to get strait A's like I have been getting so far. Getting a crush non the less a boyfriend will not help.
So I get to school and in homeroom. I see a group of guys Jacob, Laurence, Ramsey, and Alin. They were fooling around like always. I never really got to know them, they were just always in my classes. Alin was the most popular one, and he gets all the girls. After, I went to Lauguage Arts, he was there. At Science, he was there. At all my classes except for Orchestra he was there. So I decided to get to know him since he would be in 6 out of 7 of my classes. In our homeroom the next day I was passing out a paper about a school dance and when I got to Alin he said "hi" which is very unusual because why would he talk to me. Ever since then he would be very friendly to me. We would talk and sit next to eachoher. Sometimes I would go to his house and he would come to mine. We became really good friends, but everytime I would talk to his friends they would just ignore me. I thought we were past all that popular and not popular stuff, well at least Alin was. My goal would pop up in my head every once in a while but I would just say we aren't going to date. Meanwhile my older sister keeps telling me that we are perfect for eachother. But I keep replying with no he is just a really good friend. Then all of a sudden he just stopped talking to me completly and I didnt know why. But we would still text paragraphs and paragraphs. Although we never talked at school or even crossed paths we still talked on the phone. I never asked him why he suddenly stopped talking to me, I guess it was just not a topic that was brought up. We didn't go to eachothers houses anymore either but it was ok. It was after winter break when the word got out. I told my bestfriend that I kinda liked Alvin just a little. Normally when people hear that someone likes them that they don't like they will probably respond with "eww" or "ugh." So when my bestfriend told Alvin he just smiled and continued to walk. Then we slowly stopped texting. Then one day I randomly get a note in my locker from Alin. It said " Will you go out with me Raven?" With a two little check boxes one said yes and the other said no. The last thing said from Alvin. Obviously I checked off the yes box and sliped it in his locker. Little did I know, that was the worst decision of my life. So this was it we were secretly dating cause his group of friends did not like me because I was "unpopular." That is why he stopped talking to me. Then soon later me and Alvin started texting and once in a while he woukd come over and he would come over. It was all good until later people started to figure out our secret.
