The New Start

The Accident (Chapter 1)

Beep!Beep!Beep! That's the first thing I heard in the morning as I woke up to go to New York with my family to attend my cousins wedding. I have never been to New York so I was so excited. After spending 15 minuted laying on my bed scrolling through social media. I finally had the urge to get out of bed, and went to the washroom and got ready. Then I finished last minute packing for the trip.
    As I walked into my kitchen I heard so much chatter of excitement. My mom and dad were talking to each other while cooking breakfast. While my older brother Jake was on his phone. My mom and dad both said good morning to me, and served all of us an amazing breakfast.
    After breakfast my mom and dad took our luggage to the car. While that was happening I heard a ring from my pocket, and it was my boyfriend Matt. He said " Hey, have you left your house yet". I respond with "Not yet but I'm about too". He sighs then says "when are you going to come back because I really want to hang out with you, and I'll miss you". That sentence really brought warmth to my heart. Matt and I have been dating for 3 years. He and I grew up together. We lived across the street form each other, and became childhood friends. As th years went on we both began to grow feelings for one another. I was really happy with him and hoped we would be together forever. I responded to his question with "I'm not going to be gone for long, and I'm going to miss you so much."
   After talking to Matt for five minutes, I hung up the call and went outside, and got into the car.
From where lived to New York the ride was going to be pretty long. For part of the ride it was filled with signing different songs from the radio, and reading. Then we all decided to talk about what we were going to do once we got to New York.
I began with "we can visit all the attractions like the Statue of Liberty, or we can go to Six Flags, and go on all the rollercoaster. Or we can...." "Hunny we cant go to all those places. We're only staying there for 3 days." My dad then adds "that's true, but we'll try to go to as many as we can." My dad turns his head and looks at Jake and I with a smile. All of a sudden I see a car right in front of ours and I yell to the top of my lungs. "Dad watch out!"
Once the car crashed into ours everything happened in seconds. My heart was beating so fast. My eyesight began to blur... Moments later I attempted to open my eyes. All I hear is the sound of ambulance, a bright light flashing in my eyes , and yelling through my ears. The words of the people were "are you okay miss can you hear me?" Then my vision began to fade again, and I can hear them saying "we're loosing her!" As I was about to loose vision all I knew was that this event, was the start of something bad.
