Keep Fighting ~ Hogwarts [Alternative]

"It's about time," I tease them, chuckling a little when they both rolled their eyes. I excuse myself and go back to the other Weasleys for a second. George still looked sick, as did his other four brothers, Ginny, Hermione, and his parents. That's to be expected after nearly losing a family member.

I sit in between George and Ginny and sigh heavily. I caught Katelin's eye across the room and seen her smile in an attempt to make me smile, but I hid my face in my hands.

"Are you okay?" Ginny asked and I shook my head. An arm came around my shoulders and pulled me close to them. I looked up and seen George looking at me in concern. I looked over to Ginny and I seen the concern all over her face as well. "Why is everyone so concerned about me? You're the ones that nearly lost a family member," I point out and George rolls his eyes playfully.

"Because you idiot, you're one of us. You almost lost him too," he says and Ginny nods. "Yeah! I consider you a sister, and Mum and Dad consider you their second daughter. You're a Weasley now, Morgan," she says and smirks a little.

Katelin comes over a couple minutes later and asks if I'm alright. "I guess," I reply slowly, not entirely sure how to feel. "There's been another message," she mutters and I feel my heart stop.

I shake my head. "This has to end," I whisper and I jump down from the table. "Where are you going?" Katelin asks as I walk towards Harry. "To fight," I reply without slowing down or stopping. "Oh no you're not!" Fred shouts, having overheard our conversation.

"What, so I'm just gonna go let my friends fight and die whilst I sit in here? I'm sorry Fred but that's not happening," I say and he grabs my wrist as I walk away. "Please don't do this," he says and I pull my wrist away gently. "I'm sorry Fred, truly I am, but I have to do this," I tell him.

I make my way over to Harry with Fred following me, begging me to stop. "Harry! Are you ready to end this?" I ask and he looks bewildered. "Obviously. Are you wanting to fight?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Obviously," I replied and he sighed. "Ok. But be careful," he says and I nod. Katelin and Draco come and join us and Harry tenses when he sees Draco. "Malfoy," he snarls, pulling out his wand. Katelin and I move in between the two boys. "No. He's on our side now," I say and he lowers his wand reluctantly.

Katelin and I glance at each other before we step back. Fred grabs my hand and squeezes it. "Please don't do this," he whispers and turns me to face him. He puts his forehead to mine and repeats his plea. I smile and put a hand on his cheek and move back a little. "Don't worry Freddie, I'll be okay," I tell him and he sighs as his eyes Study me one more time. "If I can't stop you, let me join," he says and I shake my head.

"No Fred, I came too close to losing you. Stay here with George and your parents. Please," I tell him and he nods after a bit. "Thank you," I whisper and hug him tightly. "I have to go now," I tell him and I feel his grip tighten.

"Be careful," he says and adds, "I love you." I smile tiredly, "I love you too. I'll see you later when all of this is over." He nods and almost lets me walk away before catching up and kissing me quickly. No words were needed and I glanced over my shoulder and Harry, Ron, Hermione, Katelin, Draco, and I walked away. I'm pretty sure Ginny was able to get away, but I didn't see as we had quite literally walked right into a battlefield.

"Are you sure about this?" Neville asked Luna as they met up with the group made up of Potter, Granger, Weasley, Black, Malfoy, And Weekes. "Of course," she replied dreamily and went to stand with Ginny, Morgan, and Katelin.

"Are you ready to avenge those we've lost?" Neville asks as he takes Luna's hand. She nodded and took Ginny's hand, who turned to Morgan, who simply turned to nod at Katelin.
