~~~FINNS'S P.O.V~~~

I turned to see who it was and I saw someone I was actually glad to see. It was Marceline.

"Wow, dude you should've seen yourself!" Marceline said as a smirk went across her face.

"Haha." I said sarcastically putting my sword away.

"Seriously, it was hilarious. 'WHO'S THERE?!'" she said in a mocking tone.
I laughed a little but then started to look at the ground glumly.

"What's wrong?" She asked looking worried.

"I'm still really bummed about--"

"--Flame Princess." she said finishing my sentence.

~~~MARCELINE'S P.O.V~~~

Finn started, "I'm still really bummed about--" I knew what he was going to say so I just cut him off.

"--Flame Princess." I couldn't stand her. She destroyed Finn. I guess it wasn't my business though. It's not like I'm dating Finn. I have liked him for a few years now but, he's only 15 and I'm 17. I sighed and turned around. Then I felt him grab me by the wrist.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked.

I turned around and put a fake smile on and said," Uhm, just really bored." then I sighed.

That's when his face lit up. "Let's go on an adventure!" he said smiling.

"But, I thought you were still bummed about Flame Princess." I said questioned.

His smile then went away and he shrugged, " This could be a good way to clear my mind out, y'know, stop thinking about things."

I thought for a second then gave up. "Alright, fine... where are we adventuring?"

"Hmmmm, I don't know. Let's find a place." he replied.

"'Aiight" I replied.

~~~~~FINN'S P.O.V~~~~~

"Aiight" Marceline replied. She looked kind of nervous. When I told her it was because of Flame Princess her whole facial expression changed. it was kind of cute.....Wait.What!? Nononononononono, I just got out of a break up I can't be falling in love with another girl.

"Hey,Finn you alright?" I snapped right out if my daydreaming mode. I looked at Marceline and she was waving her hand in my face with a confused look.

"Y-Yeah yeah I'm fine." I said my cheeks turning extremely red. " I better tell Jake that we are gonna go adventuring so he doesn't worry about me.

"Okay" she said with a shrug as I grabbed her from her wrist and pulled her downstairs.

~~~~MARCELINE'S P.O.V~~~~

If I could blush I would because he just grabbed my wrist. I was gonna pull away but I couldn't. he pulled me downstairs and I saw jake playing compy's castle on BMO.

"Hey Jake, me an Marcy are going on an adventure so don't worry too much." Finn called out to him.

Jake looked over at me an said, "why are you going with her?" he said glaring at me.

I smirked and floated over to Jake wrapping my arms around him. then I said sarcastically in a baby voice "Awww, is wittle jakey wakey still mad at wittle ol' me?"

"GET OFF ME!" Jake shouted pushing me away.

Then Finn and I started to laugh hysterically. "Okay, Okay sorry wittle jakey."

We traveled all around Ooo, looking for something to adventure at. Finn offered to go to some kingdoms, seeing if they needed help. But, I denied. See, I'm the Vampire Queen, I don't really help people. It's not really my thing.

FINALLY, we came across a cave. But, the entrance was locked. Finn began hitting at it with his sword but barely even denting it.

"It's no use Finn." I said putting my hand on his shoulder with hesitation.

"There's gotta be a lever around here." he said.

"Well, I could use my vampire senses," I suggested.

"Senses remind me of Flame Princess," Finn said with a sigh as I used my sense and pulled on a tree branch. "Tree branch levers remind me of her too."

"I would really appreciate it if you could stop mentioning her. your hurting yourself just talking about her and its really annoying." I said, immediately regretting it.

He looked at me all angry "I just can't get over her."

"Yes you can, your jut doubting yourself."

He suddenly became angry and started yelling at me, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT."

I looked at him weirdly. Why did he get so angry. "Alright, Alright don't get your panties in a bunch. And I do know, I've loved and lost. Love just isn't the thing for me. I have a dead heart it doesn't beat." I replied looking him straight in the eye.

He looked at me sadly then went back to being angry. This time, years building up in his eyes. "NO! NO WAY MARCELINE!" he shouted wiping his tears.

Then he started again more calm, looking hesitant to say what was on his mind. "Look, I know you say your heart is all dead 'n' stuff, but, whenever you're around me I feel it beating. Like a, butterfly or a bat. Heh." He finished looking at me straight in the eye.

I just stood there with my mouth hung open. then I looked at him, straight in the eye. Then my eyebrows scrunched together. I got mad. My cheeks would have been blushing so hard right now. "OH GLOBBIT FINN! Why do you have to be so sweet?! How am I supposed to respond to that?!" I responded angrily but with a hint of caring.

He looked at me, I knew he was thinking. "We could, hug I guess." he said with a shrug, blushing.

"Pfftttt." I replied.

He hugged me.

Finn hugged me.

Finn the human hugged me.

Finn. The. Human. Merants. Hugged....Me!..

I hugged him back, my heart beating out of his chest. He opened his eyes apparently hearing my heart beat.

"There it goes." he replied.
