Huddled in her bed Alexis sighed as another day began. It was always the same. Eat, school, sleep, repeat. Day in day out she had to put on a smile and lie to everyone. "I'm fine" The biggest lie she had ever told
Truth was, she wasn't fine. Alexis felt alone, scared and punished herself for constantly not being good enough. She had friends, a girlfriend that her parents didn't know about and she had to keep it from them all. She had built a wall around her and only one person could still get through.
Ella. She was always there for her, saw through Alexis like she was glass and would find a way to always make her spill what was wrong. Or some of it. Ella had long dark brown hair brown eyes and was an overall amazing person. But she could make Alexis tell her everything and Alexis would always crack under her concerned gaze.
