This is a very important tool as you can see every element you put into your project. According to what you want to do, you can bring an image in front of the other, hide texts behind cropped pngs by moving the text under the png layer and so on.
This is basically what you need to know about the main buttons.
Now comes the fun and more detailed part.

When you double click on one of your images/ elements, an array of tool bar appears at the bottom of your screen.
The first option is filters. There are degrees to which you can decide to have that effect of filter on your image.

The second option is a collection of many effects.
This part mostly allows you to play around with your images until you get them to the right colour, saturation, visibility you want them to be.

Shadow option is a great life saver and it gives depth to your graphics.
You can arrange the angle of your shadow, blur it, change it's colour or decide it's opacity.

There are three simple options; - 'Size' where you can change your image's size - 'Opacity' where you can decide on the visibility of an object. - 'Rotate' where you can tilt your elements or flip them on an axis.

Blur and tint options are pretty straightforward. One can make the element go out of focus and the other can tint the image to the colour of your choice.
And the Nudge option to the right of them is just for precise moving of your graphic pieces.

Mask option is one of the most important parts.
When you want to crop an image or cut out a model for your graphic, you just zoom in and start erasing parts of the picture with your finger.

And another important option is the Blend at the end of the tool bar.
To be honest it took me a while to get to hang of what every effect in this section does and how to use them properly but when you start playing around with them, it makes your progress much faster.
As an example, I used the 'Overlay' effect on the star. (I tend to use overlay a lot)
