Hailing from Shivpuri, a small district in the big state of Madhya Pradesh, where women hardly were educated, Ishita managed to convince her parents to travel to another City for her education. Of course, restrictions powered. Most of the children belonging to the town, travelled by the local train that commuted them from their city to another at fixed timings.
Raman, after his father's demise on duty, took the job of station master in the same district owing to family conditions and discontinued his studies & dreams of better career.
They also owned a small eatery and general store outside the station that served all the commuters from tea to snacks to small stationery. As the station had trains commuting in very restricted timings, Raman devoted his other time to the store.
A very well mannered boy, he was loved by localities
Raman being in almost same age as the students of the town, they all shared a very good rapport. Raman used to borrow books from them owing to his interest to gather knowledge & he used help them with their studies as well. His mother was very affectionate towards the kids of the town & so were they. This is where Raman and Ishita friendship bloomed.
