It was 9:45, math class with Mr. Daniels. He ushered you into the room, waving to quiet the class. You sat in your seat, the dreaded seat in between Ethan Dolan and R/G/N R/G/L/N. R/G/N sneered at you, giving you the satisfaction of knowing you bothered her. Ethan tapped your shoulder,

"Hey Y/N." He smiled hopefully at you. Dodging his deadly adorable glance, you answer,

"What do you want Ethan?" He looked taken aback by your reaction. Serves him right. He broke your heart just before the start of the year. He continued to pry,

"Look, I'm-" He got cut off, Mr. Daniels glaring,

"Mr. Dolan, if you don't mind, the whole class would like to hear your conversation." Ethan's cheeks went pink. Mr. Daniels nodded,

"Now, back to what I was saying."

*Second Period*

As you shuffled through the hall, your wrist was pinned to the wall behind you. Struggling, you face Ethan,

"What the heck?! Let me go!" His hazel eyes burned into yours with a fury buried beneath the loving glare he gave you,

"No. Look, I'm sorry. Please take me back." He dropped your wrist and you stood there, defying the inner pleads to run. You shook your head,

"No Ethan. You broke my trust. You broke my heart. And worst of all, you broke me. I'm tired of you doing this to me. I. Am. Done!" You spat the words out, counting every thing he did out on your fingers. He looked at the ground, unable to meet your eyes. You scoffed and stomped off, tears burning in the corners of your eyes. When you got to AP Lit, you threw your stuff on the desk and sat heavily in the seat. The AP Lit teacher widened her eyes at you,

"My goodness. Is something wrong today?" She closed her book, leaning forward. You shook your head and stayed silent, crying on the desk. As the class filed in, you wiped your tears and sat up straighter. They all expected your usual hello to everyone, but as they noticed your saddened demeanor, they all smiled sweetly at you. You broke down as Ethan walked by, hugging you tightly. You dashed out of the room, wiping the blinding tears out of your eye. You burst into the girl's restroom, locking yourself in a stall and crying harder. You missed his warm embrace, you missed his comfort. You missed his everything, but denied him for what he did. The bathroom door swung open and a knock on your stall ceased your crying,

"Who is it?" You muttered the word, barely able to use your words,

"Y/BF/N." Your best friend kept knocking on the door, insisting that you come out. You finally unlocked the door, immediately falling into her arms and crying more. She patted your back soothingly,

"You have to stop crying, you're going to make yourself sick." She warned you and attempted to get you to stop crying. You calmed down, the tears in your eyes no longer present and the sobs that you emitted turning into small hiccups. Y/BF/N walked you back to class, earning stares from the class as you entered. Ethan watched you, his eyes pleading for an answer. You avoided his stare, sitting back in your seat and ignoring the questions from the teacher.

*Lunch*

You sat with your usual lunch group, you, Y/BF/N, Grayson and Corbyn. Staring at the empty spot that used to be Ethan, a million memories rushed into your head. You groaned, pushing your untouched lunch away and holding your head. Y/BF/N looked at you,

"You good?" You shook your head 'no' and walked out of the cafeteria without a word. Ethan watched you leave, meeting your eyes once and his table giving you evil sneers.

*Free Period*

You walked around the east wing of your school, scrolling through your phone absently. You reached an empty classroom, no teacher or students. You entered, happily sitting in one of the stools. Placing down your phone, you fondly examined the silver bracelet on your wrist. More memories of Ethan and yourself faded into your mind as you ripped of the bracelet, getting up and stomping off.
