"Baekhyun, I remembered something!"
He put down the fork, and his worried expression turned up into a thrilled smile. "Really? What was it?"
"Remember on our first date," and by first I meant the real one, "you fed me cake and accidentally put icing on my nose. And then I was about to wipe it off, but you. . . You—" I didn't finish what I was about to say. It was too awkward for the already-heating-up me, and by the looks on Baekhyun's smirking face, he already knew what I was talking about.
"And then I kissed you on the nose." He leaned forward. His beaming face added with his mischievous smirk grew larger until it covered the beaming sunlight. He placed a soft peck on my nose and licked off the icing of his doing. I looked up at his enticing eyes, but instead of seeing his sparkling gems, I saw his soft eyelids and long eyelashes pointing down. "And also on the lips." Before I knew it, his warm lips covered my own, heating me up and making the cozy café seem cold. He pulled away and positioned himself on his seat. "I'm glad you remembered it."
After the café, Baekhyun brought me to the outlet mall and entered random boutiques. We went to this store, Blue Magic, and were greeted with a massive amount of stuffed toys. I went ecstatic, and the next thing I knew, I was running around the boutique and rummaging through all the stuffed toys. I found a white puppy stuffed animal as big as my torso, and I thought it resembled Baekhyun for having those sparkly and innocent eyes. I asked him to buy it for me. I held the stuffed animal against my chest and looked up to him, trying to imitate the toy's puppy eyes. He chuckled, "You silly. I'll buy it."
"Yay! Thanks Baekhyun! Can I name it after you? I'll name it Puppybaek since it looks so much like you."
"What? No it doesn't. I'm obviously way cuter than that ginormous puppy." He poked the stuffed animal.
"No you're not," I teased, "Puppybaek is way cuter."
"Really? I just won't buy it then. It's just gonna snatch your heart away from me." He teasingly looked away.
"What? No, I'm just kidding! You're cuter, okay. Please, Baekhyun, buy it for me, please, please, please." I whined as I tugged the hem of his shirt and gave him the best aegyo I could possibly pull off. Then he looked at me with his cheeks lightly contracted upwards, a smile can be seen on his face although he obviously was resisting it.
"Fine." In the end, he paid for the stuffed animal, and we went out the store with a huge puppy in my hand.
Our next stop was the movie theater. We took too much time walking, eating, and shopping at the mall that it was already turning dark when we arrived. The whole cinema, however, contrasted the darkness as its dazzling lights drew rhythmic lines along the borders of the concrete building. We went inside and decided to watch a romance movie. I offered to buy the tickets, but he said he was a man and he should pay for everything especially on our first date. I kept insisting, though, so I ended up paying for our snacks and drinks. We entered the dark, empty room and found the best spot at the farthest back. We sat there with his hand on top of mine, or if not, he'd put his arm around my shoulders. I couldn't help but imagine ourselves being in the movie as I watched. I smiled at the thought of us getting through all the adversities and getting stronger just as in the movie. We'd be tied with a stronger string, and we'd be bonded together forever.
We finished the movie and walked out of the building with pleasant curves on our faces, then Baekhyun brought me to a restaurant not too fancy but still nice. Although we only had a light dinner, I felt bloated eating all of Baekhyun's cheesiness as his mouth ran nonstop with fluff and gags. We finished eating, and this time I fought and insisted to pay our bill since he'd been spending too much money on me the whole day. I looked out the window and was attracted by the moonlight. It was already dark, and perhaps both of us were already getting tired that we both called it a night.
