For over a millenia, both clans of the sun and moon have been at war. The unrelentless loss of citizens and armies. Both clans have a long history of conflict and war written in history books. Interaction between the Sun and Moon clan are strictly forbidden, many elders who belong to the clans have agreed that any communication between either of these tribes is a threat to their own clan. Many believe that the sun and moon people don't belong together.

The moon had just risen on ieslion, the people were enjoying the soft white shine casting shadows on the ground. People were gathered on the square, a large statue in the middle standing tall. The statue had been of the original ruler of ieslion, Diana. (Y/N) slowly walked through the bustling crowd, adorned in white gowns and their light colored skin almost glowing under the moonlight. As the rightful heir to the throne, she was to follow her mother as the next ruler of ieslion, people nodded and smiled at their future queen while simultaneously slightly bowing their heads. (Y/N) smiled courteously as she lifted her skirt to go up the marbled steps. As she got to the top of the stairs, she turned around, wind softly blowing through her (H/C) hair. Her eyes drifted upwards towards the sky, today was one of the nights where their rivaling planet could be seen as a small yellowish dot in the sky full of white stars. Swiftly turning on her heel she pushed open the doors to reveal the interior of the palace, two large marble stairs lead upwards to the bedrooms of her and her parents. Her mother, Acra, had been sick for quite some time now, you could notice it if you'd looked at the stars recently. Usually they were so bright and vivid, as of now, her mother was deteriorating and the stars were too.

Her father, Yros, hadn't left his wife's side for a long time. (Y/N) let a soft sigh slip from her lips as she trailed up the stairs, peeking through the crack of the white wooden double doors. She pushed her back against the wall, sucking in her breath as she heard an ongoing conversation that probably wasn't even meant for her.

"Darling..." a voice croaked, presumably her mother, " i don't know how we should tell (Y/N), or even the elders of this planet". The bed sheets shifted. After an unbearable long silence her father finally spoke.

His loud voice filled the large room, "I'll tell her and the people eventually, we'll let them visit our planet, our men heavily armed obviously," he paused for a second as if he was thinking about something, " and then, we'll arrange everything".

(Y/N) stumbled back, trudging towards her room and silently shutting the pristine white door. She shifted her hair over her left shoulder as she pushed open the glass doors leading to the balcony, overlooking a small pond. The reflection of the moon gazing back at her.

Who was they? And why did the guards have to be heavily armed? It didn't make sense at all, her fingertips hovered over the edge of the balcony, she closed her eyes sighing. A thought briefly crossed her mind, she had just turned 20, and on her planet that meant she was now legally ready to be betrothed. She swallowed hard, shaking the thought off she walked back into her room, closing the doors and turning to her closet. Picking out her soft white and blue nightgown, she walked to her bathroom and let the tap run hot water.

When the bath was full, she lowered herself in the bathtub and sighed contently. The bubbles felt soft against her milky skin, a smell of fresh linen drifted around the greyscale bathroom, the grey bathroom contrasted her baby blue and white room, her parents refused to change the colour though. Her eyes wandered around the bathroom, biting her lip, when would she meet her suitors though? Strangely her mother nor her father had spoken a word to her about it, while her older sister, who was now ruling along with her husband Viserion on a different planet, had heard about it way earlier than she had.

(Y/N) lifted herself out of the bath, setting foot on the soft fluffy towel, and dried her body off, slipping into her nightgown. Rubbing her eyes she shuffled over the floor and laid down on the silk covers, and let her head sink down in the cushions, which felt like soft clouds.

Life on Iuria was the total opposite, the order and politeness known on Ieslion was nothing in comparison to the liveliness of the Sun clan's planet. As the sun was setting, the prince was still trudging through the forest, his brother in tow.

"Brother, have you thought about a betrothal yet? Its going to happen soon, you've turned 21 not too long ago!" The black haired man kept up with the wide strides of Thor, eventually walking in unison with him, however, with a little more elegance than his brother.

Thor coughed, his blonde locks flying over his shoulder as he eyed his brother, "father has spoke to me about it, but it hasn't been seriously discussed yet."

A grin spread across the raven haired mans face, "mother has planned something, you know that right?" He toyed with the long hem of his shirt.

"Are you sure Loki?", a confused look crossed Thor's face, "it doesn't seem like something she'd do".

As they had arrived at the large castle, a lake proudly surrounding most of it, they greeted the guards and entered the foyer.

A large shadow was cast on the floor before them, "Thor, I'd like to have a word with you." His fathers gaze was stern as he motioned the prince to come over. Loki shot a concerned gaze over to his brother, who merely shrugged it off.

As Thor entered his fathers study room, he took place on one of the leather chairs, the leather felt cold against his muscular arms. He looked up at his father who had cleared his throat.

"This is about your betrothal and the safety of our people"
