Chapter 16

AUSTIN POV

      I could tell Alan's comment upset Jade but I just blew it off and made a joke out of it. Jade wears a purity ring and I respect that. I'd never force her into anything and I think she trusts me. Alan walked off and I sat up with Jade and gave her a soft quick kiss on the lips which made her smile and forget about the comment. I had to remind myself that she doesn't know Alan as well as I do.

     Within the next 10 minutes all the guys showed up and we were all sitting outside on my back patio roasting the marshmallows that Alan had brought.

    "Oh hey! You haven't met Phil! Phil.... Jade.... Jade.... Phil." Tino said as they shook hands.

     "Oh hey! I've heard a lot about you!" Phil exclaimed as he hugged her.

     "All good I hope!" Jade said with a concerned laugh.

     "Nothing less than amazing!" Phil laughed.

     "Awww well aren't you guys just the sweetest." Jade said with a sarcastic smirk.

     "By the way thank you so much for doing this. It means a lot to us." Aaron said being the serious mature one as usual.

     "No problemo señor! Thank YOU for the opportunity!! I can't believe this is actually happening!"

     "Believe it! And you DESERVE this opportunity!" I said pulling her back to me into a hug. She burried her head in my shoulder smiling against me.

     "How did I ever manage to get myself a guy like you?"

     "You were born." I said joking. All the guys were talking when Jade suggested we play some music. I grabbed my stereo and plugged my phone into it playing some Rascall Flats. Tino raised his marshmallow in the air saying, "TO THE BEST TOUR EVER!" and Alan raised his saying, "TO THE BESTEST MERCH GIRL WE'VE EVER HAD!" We all raised our skewers in the air causing Jade's sleeve to fall as I saw Aaron's eyes grow as he noticed Jade's bandaged wrist. He looked to me and I just shook me head. We all cheered and I asked Jade to go grab us some monster which she gladly did skipping to the music into the kitchen.

     Aaron looked to me and just flat out said, "What happened?" I replied saying, "It's a long story. I'll explain later." Phil, confused, chimed in and said, "What?" Aaron just patted his wrist and all of the guys instantly knew what he meant. Jade came back out with 6 monsters and handed them to each guy before sitting on my lap with hers. I wrapped my arms around her and said, "So what do you want to do?"

     "Scary stories!" All the guys laughed and Alan said, "I HAVE ONE! And it's really short." We nodded and he continued to say, "Me going... wait for it... BALD!!" Everyone laughed then slightly cringed at the thought of a bald Alan. Just then Jade's phone rang and her face changed as she got up and ran in the house answering the phone.

JADE POV

    Just as Alan finished his "scary story" My phone rang. It was Adam's number... What the hell did he want?

"What?" -J

"Hello?" -A

"What do you want Adam?" -J

"Is it true?" -A

"Is what true?" -J

"Are you dating that band guy? Are you?" -A

"Yes. I am. And he's a thousand times better for me than you ever were. GO. AWAY. Seriously." -J
