How I got into Furries

How Did It Happen?

Hello name is FurryRedFox and I'm going to describe what might caused me to turn into a Furry lover throughout this story. If any Furry is reading this I'm new to the Fandom so if I get it all wrong please tell me.

I don't really know how I got into this fandom. But all this started years ago which at the time I never really got so into it until the later years of my life. I would always watch Animal planet which already has a lot of animal shows just like National Geographic Wild. The show Regular Show from Cartoon Network had a lot of anthropomorphic animals such as a Blue Jay named Mordecai and a Raccoon named Rigby. I was hurt that the show finally ended. I almost cried on the final episode of it. The show felt like part of my child hood getting ripped away from you. This went onto me graduating high school with a great GPA. Every now and again Cartoon Network will sometimes play re-runs of Regular show which I would watch.

One example of Anthropomorphic characters in a movie was Ants. It had Anthropomorphic Ants such as a queen ant and a hero ant named Flick. It's was one of an oldie but a goodie. Another example of the Furry characters in movies was Monster's Inc that was also made by the same company. Monster's Inc had what I now call Furries in there. It had a monster named Sully and a green alien thing named Mike Wasowski as the main characters. I'm still not going to watch Zootopia which it's kinda a weird movie to begin with.

Should being a Furry even matter? I don't really think so. It wouldn't be a bad thing I don't think. I personally wouldn't care if I were one. I'm kinda scared of what my parents will say about me being a Furry. I really don't know how they will react to this. Just because I'm a Furry doesn't mean that I'm automatically gay. Only a good percentage of the Furry fandom is gay. My brother keeps saying I like Furries and it's true but I refuse to tell him that I am one, If I do tell him he will make fun of me and tease me about it forever.
