'Oh, so you and Alex live together', Madison grinned playfully,'for a second there I thought he was straight'.
I opened my mouth for an angry retort but Nova beat me to it.
'As if I'd have that much luck', Nova responded, smiling devilishly,'nah, if anything was going on Alex wouldn't be able to keep a 'straight' face'.
Nova and Madison giggle but I just sigh. They still act like kids, I don't think they'll ever grow up. Suddenly the large door swung open to reveal an impatient Amethyst.
'She's still not here' Amethyst scowled, flames of anger burning in her violet eyes.
'You do realise we still have 10 minutes to spare' Madison said walking so that she stood directly in front of her,'plus we're not gonna do much when we get there anyway, so there's no rush.'
'I know, sorry' I hear Amethyst muttering to Madison as they left the room.
Amethyst planned for us to go to the town together, to shop and to hang out.
'Girls, they're funny creatures' Nova said , checking his phone.
'Well, they're still better than your jokes, that's for sure' I replied, opening the door.
'What are you talking about, my jokes are fabulous,' he sarcastically protested,' anyways, it would do you good to lighten up.'
Nova walked by me, red eyes darkened
As he looked down at his phone again. He was browsing through his social media platforms. His outfits were always two sizes too big and they almost all were red or black. The very definition of edgy. Although I can't blame him, he was born with blood red eyes and matt black hair, so edginess was natural.
'What is that supposed to mean?' I inquired, as we walked down the fairly narrow hallway, which could only fit three average adults standing side by side.
'You're always so serious, except when you have some girl in your mind,' he added in a slightly annoyed tone.
'Dude, chill - I'm allowed to have a love life'
''Dude', bros before whores' he retorted, air quoting 'dude'. He proceeded to open up the door at the end of the hallway.
Instantly, a wave of chatter attacked our ears, viciously impaling our poor hearing. We had a large group of friends therefore meaning that two cars were necessary to get us to and from the town. But it seemed Robin just got here, so - it's time to go.
