I loved Gussie so much. I made her a role model of mine in middle school, after finding out that she survived the holocaust.
Gussie was nothing but kind, and didn't believe in fear. Not only was she a fantastic family member, but also a true inspiration.
She spoke at schools about her experiences, and she never shyed away at discussing them.
Gussie Zaks will always be loved, honored, and remembered. Rest in peace. May I see you again.
