The wolf

Chapter 1

       The wolf was tall and black...I went outside and saw the wolf, I have never felt fear like that in my whole life. I ran as fast as I could until I reached a room and ran inside, slammed the door and locked myself in. I yelled at the top of my lungs "go away, go away!" As loud as I could manage. It slammed against the door knocking it down, it's black as night fur shining in the moonlight that was casted down from a big window in the room. It's green as grass eyes , but dark and cold, beaming of hatred. It lunged towards me I put my arms up to try to block it but it only bit my left forearm. I fell backwards, my hair fell across my face, I looked at my hair noticing the unusual color. White as snow I thought than before I passed out I said "is it possible for my hair to turn color so quickly?" And then darkness.....
            Next thing I knew I waking up in a hospital room, cops came in and they said that my parents were dead, killed by the wolf but they didn't say it so harshly, they said and I still remember their exact words "they are in a better place now, in the sky looking after you!" Then they forced a smile and I saw my aunt and uncle sitting in the chairs beside me. Well that happened when I was 4 now I am 16, in 10th grade, and living with my aunt and uncle. Somehow I still remember every single little detail about that night. I stare out of the classroom window and as I write 2-9-18 on my paper I realize somebody sat next to me, I murmur a "Hey" and turn towards the window looking out of it again. I hear him say "hello my name is Damien blayke nice to meet you....?" I turn towards him and he looks Like the wolf well if it had a human form that is, he had deep black as night hair and grass green eyes but they weren't cold and full of hatred, they were sweet and warming. " hey I am calliope  Vanderholt but you can call me Callie everyone does." I say coldly than turn away and pay attention to the teacher again he does too but in the corner of my eye I saw him smirking.

        We didn't talk to each other the entire period I thought as I left the class room and into the hall. As I get a few feet from my last period I thought he would go his separate way and not ask me the ten million dollar question but I was wrong when I heard a "Callie!,Callie Wait I want to ask you something!" He finally catches up to me and walks beside me then he asks "why is your hair white? You are still so young!" Yes THAT question I stop and he stopped beside me and I looked at him and he looked at me with eagerness In his green eyes. " you really want to know?" I say very coldly and he nods then I say " a wolf killed my parents and went after me....it but me and my hair turned white like magic happy now newbie?!" And I walked off I think that I shocked him because he just stood there blankly but I didn't care I just walked away.
     I got on the crowded bus and the only available seat was next to him I walk down the bus isle and sit. Thankfully he didn't talk the entire ride and  I got off the bus but so did Damien. Of course this is his stop! I thought and walked down the path as fast as I could the bus pulled away and I hear him say " I think we may be neighbors" I roll my eyes and continue down the path. then I hear him say " how did you know I was new? I never said anything and you never know I could've just switched classes!" I knew you where new because everyone knows about me and my hair but they just make up silly rumors.  I was and am the talk of the town, everywhere I looked was my story. I've had trouble making friends because everyone said that a curse was put on me and that is why my hair is white. At one point I tried to dye it to its original color but it didn't work I put 3 packages of dye in my hair and it as if the dye turned white when making contact with my hair so I just cover it up." What color was your hair originally?" Brown almost black." Those claims are ludicrous! They shouldn't judge someone based on their looks!" " well unfortunately that is how the world works your 17 right? You should fully know how the world works but unless you were homeschooled or protected from the world you wouldn't understand whatcha I can tell by your expression that it is the second option right you were protected from the world?"  I say angrily he responds in a sad voice like he's trying to be happy but I could tell he isn't happy  so he says "I am 16 like you and yes I was protected from the world until my dad, but that's not important. I can see your home now so I will go home as well" I shake off the wanting question that came to my mind but my mouth doesn't listen and just blurts out " what happened to your dad?" He was gone by then he didn't hear me I felt relieved but at the same time I was curious.
            I open the door to my house and I am greeted by my aunt smiling at me then she asks "who's the boy?" He's our neighbor he just moved here and I was being neighborly and junk." Her smile fades into a smirk when she says " does he know about your past?" Yeah I think I was kinda harsh about that but at least he knows." Her smile goes away completely now as she asks " how did he react?" Well he said the claims were ludicrous and when he heard about my past it's almost like he subconsciously said 'I am sorry you had to go through that'." Wells he's a keeper!" She says with a smile back one her face and I roll my eyes but I can't help to smile too. I head for the circular stairs and as I go up them I yell out "I have a lot of homework to do so don't bother me aunt Crissy!" No promises!" She almost sings from the kitchen.
           I get my homework done and it's night already I open my window and it's cold but not too cold so I decide I want to take a walk. After closing my window I through on a hoodie, joggers, and sneakers grab my head phones and phone then tell aunt Crissy where I am going. " hey aunt Crissy I am going to take a walk through the forest and don't worry I will stay on the path." Ok don't stay out too late and  dinner is in the microwave I have a plate ready for you just heat it up ok?" Yeah yeah I will thanks see you later" I walk down the path for at least 5 minutes when I open my eyes and notice Damien....
