Dan and Phil first word thingy AU. (The words that show up on your wrist at some point in your life are the first words your soulmate will say to you.)
Dan got up at 6:30 every weekday, which was far too early for his liking. So when his alarm went of on a rainy Wednesday morning, he groaned and pushed snooze. About half an hour later he was out of bed with messy curly hair, which he hated, and droopy eyelids. He took a shower, straightened his hair and went to have breakfast. He was eating some toast with jam while staring at the words on his wrist when he realized he had ran out of coffee. He didn't like going to coffee shops because they're hella expensive and crowded too, but today he decided to go to the Starbucks nearest to his college. He got on the bus, put his earbuds in and listened to MCR on full blast. When he got to Starbucks he ordered the usual: a caramel macchiato. He heard his name being called and went over there to see how they misspelled his name this time. The barista was a gorgeous blue eyed guy with emo black hair and glasses, he was wearing a yellow and black flanel with a nametag on it, and he was smiling a cute lopsided smile. So basically: he was the most beautiful thing Dan had ever seen. The guy looked around, clearly searching for someone to give the coffee in his hand to. Dan walked over and reached for the cup while saying it was his. His eyes wandered to the barista's chest, where his name tag was, it said: "Philip". In that one second, just when Dan's attention was elsewhere, the cup tilted and the coffee spilled all over his chest.
-I'm so sorry!-Phil exclaimed, and buried his now beetroot face in his cupped hands.
-Shit that's hot!-cursed Dan, while trying to wipe the steaming drink off his shirt with a paper towel.
They both stopped in place and looked at each other in awe. The words they just said were the ones written on their wrists.
