Chapter 1

The sun rose over the horizon as clouds started to roll away from the sky showing the last bits of night . It was early morning around seven or so no one was really up at that time . Ruby was asleep in her room as she had the covers over her head she was snoring peacefully her alarm rang loudly causing ruby to groan frustratingly she moved her right arm out of her covers and lazily searched for the alarm button to turn it off she couldn't find it right away this made ruby groan again and throw one of her pillows at the alarm causing it to fall off the nightstand but it still kept making that terrible beeping noise . Yang walked in her sisters room with a tooth  brush in her mouth she looked at her little sister and crossed her arms with a playful eye roll followed by a smile the blonde walked over to where the alarm was and turned it off now putting it back onto the nightstand she looked back at ruby to see her head being covered by the blanket. Yang sighed taking the tooth brush out of her mouth with her left hand and she walked to rubies bed now sitting on it and looked down at her she smiled and poked rubies head through the blanket making ruby whine and swat her hand away , this made yang smirk and poke her again and again ruby swatted the hand away but more quickly this time followed by a low growl . Yang poked her a third time making ruby growl loudly sitting up and hitting her sister with the pillow making yang laugh . Ruby pouted with her eyes narrowed now fully awake she glared at yang while holding the pillow which was on her lap she had shadows underneath her silver eyes and she did look tired her hands turned to fists " yang can't you atleast give me five more minutes? Or is that too much to ask? " ruby said and rubbed her eyes with a yawn . Yang stopped laughing and cleared her throat the question made her raise her eyebrow " oh? Maybe you should have gone to sleep early like I suggested and not staying up till what like 11:00 watching camp camp? And you shouldn't be watching that it's a bit....adult for someone your age rubes " yang said calmly she unlike ruby was fully rested yang had heard ruby laughing a couple times during the night which she wouldn't normally have minded it was just she was trying to sleep but she did manage to sleep through it.

Ruby was wide eyed and huffed now crossing her arms " I'm fifteen ! How am I too young to watch that? You go to  a public bar ! And-" she said yang cut her off with a raise of her right hand " and I'm seventeen your fifteen . I can go there because I'm able to take care of myself plus I'm mature enough . And besides I know they know I can snap their necks if they try to do anything to me that I don't like. My issue is with some inappropriate things in camp camp like that one epside...spooky island at the end " yang said and ruby blushed now looking away then she raised her eyebrow and looked back at her sister " wait ...you watch it too?! " she said sounding surprised. Yang smiled crossing her arms " of course . And besides I'm  old enough you aren't " yang said causing ruby to growl " oh whatever! " ruby shouted yang laughed again and messed up rubies hair even more . " easy easy I'm just worried about you rubes I don't want you to get into something that may scar you for life . " yang said ruby sighed with a smile " I know it's just frustrating .... " she said . Yang chuckled now standing up and patted rubies shoulder " and c'mon it's your first day of high school today ....freshman " yang said with a smile and ruby grumbled now standing up stretching her arms with another yawn " but ....being a freshman sucks! Don't they tend to get picked on more? I wanna be a junior like you " ruby said she was wearing her pajamas . Yang smiled and put her right arm around ruby now looking at her " it won't be so bad rubes if anybody gives you trouble or you need anything and I mean anything let me know . I'll always be there for you sis " yang said making ruby smile this was her first year at beacon high and yang being a sophomore would make it easier . She did manage to skip a few grades to make it here . Ruby hugged her sister and whent to the bathroom to get cleaned up yang watched her go as she put the tooth brush back in her mouth she walked out of her sisters room and downstairs she sat on the railing and slid down with her hands in the air then jumping off of the railing as she was almost at the end of it. Yang brushed her teeth as she walked into the kitchen she moved a piece of her hair out of the way now making it to the sink and bending over it and spit out the toothpaste she then took a glass Filling it with water as she did so her Dad Taiyang Walked In he smiled At yang who Held a full glass of water and was Now Starting to drink it. Taiyang Crossed His arms and Leaned against the counter " So is the bathroom Sink acting Up" Taiyang Asked Jokingly . Yang put up A finger indicating to give her a Minute She Set the cup down and swished the water around In her mouth Then spitting it out she set her toothbrush Aside now leaning Against the counter with her back to It and resting her hands on it she chuckled " nope rubes is using it . so how's zwei? " yang asked with a tilt of her head. It was time for zweis daily check up at the vet and she knew how much trouble it was to get Zwei Back After He runs Off From Knowing That He Would have to go To the Vet. as If On Qeu Zwei Walked in from around A Corner And He Flopped down On the carpet With his ears flattened he looked tired as he did taiyang smiled " he's good he did better then I thought he would. " taiyang said yang smiled with a giggle the tv was on in the living room as she heard a news reporter speak when they did it caught her Atention " In Other news The Violent Faunus Organtization Called The White Fang Has Stolen dust From The Schnee Dust Company And Has Bombed Some Buildings the crime Rates From This Gang Is Going Through The Roof  Its Leader adam Taurus Is Not yet Captured Either. We Would Advise All Civillians To Stay Safe " The reporter Said And Yang Had a Worried Expression She Looked at Taiyang who had the same expression he sighed " the world's getting rougher out there yang soon it will be too dangerous that we would have to be isolated in our own homes just to be safe from the horrible things that's happening all because of faunus " taiyang said and looked down . Yang frowned and moved away from the counter it wasn't the faunus fault for doing this humans had pushed them to the limit to do this there were other faunus who didn't want any of that chaos to happen " faunus aren't the problem it's Adam he is making it worse for all of them by making them commit those Horrible ACts! There are faunus who want peace dad. They arent The ones to blame Adam is. So Are we " yang said aNd TAiyang Sighed " I g..gues Your right kId " he said. After that yang Heard footsteps Coming down the Stairs Quickly Ruby Had Her BAckpack On and she jumped Over The railing half way Landing on her feet then she ran over to where yang and her dad were she smiled and stood up straight " I'm ready! " ruby said and yang smiled softly the blonde whent to grab her bag which was on the chair at the table she put it over her arms and walked back to ruby " let's show these beacon kids what my little sister can do eh? We'll start it this off with a yang! " yang said with a wide smile giving ruby . Suddenly a click and a flash happened making ruby blink her eyes a few times taiyang had a camera and took a picture of them fist bumping " dad! " ruby said and taiyang smiled with a shrug " it's for the picture book " taiyang said and put the camera back. 

Ruby Sighed She Turned Around To Leave but Yang shoved Her Making Her Stumble A Bit She heard Her Sister Laugh As she ran " first One to The buss Stop Is A Rotten Egg!" Yang Shouted And Was Half Way Out The Door. Rubies Hands turned to Fists " Hey No Fair Thats Cheeting!" Ruby Shouted And Ran After Yang She closed The Door Behind Her.  Taiyang Shook His Head With Another smile Now Looking At Zwei " Crazy Kids Huh?" Taiyang Asked. Zwei Just Looked Up At Him And Huffed Then rolled over on His Side. Taiyang Whent To The Living Room .
