"Is it just me or has Louis been acting weird lately?" Harry asked Liam as they were walking through the mall, Liam insisting they took this path.

They were roommates, those two. Although Harry had thought for some time that Liam might move in with Zayn or Zayn might switch dorms with Harry or something. He didn't quite get their relationship.

They both hated grocery shopping with a passion, so they had agreed on doing it together when it was absolutely necessary. And absolutely necessary meant an empty fridge and having had take out once too often in a row.

"You think?" Liam frowned, his bushy eyebrows furrowing. It reminded Harry of a puppy. "Now that you mention it, yeah. Kind of."

"Did something happen?"

He shrugged. "I don't think so. Have you asked him?"

Harry gave him a look. "Of course I have. He says he's fine."

"Well, maybe he is fine and you're just being overprotective. You've always been the most protective over him out of our group, after all." Liam walked into a store, Harry trailing behind him.

Though he made a good point, Harry still wasn't convinced. Something was up. But on the other hand, if he had a secret Harry would be the first one he would tell. They had not been friends for too long - one and a half years, give or take - but they had always been able to tell each other anything.

"Maybe you're right."

"When am I not, my dear Harry?" Liam winked at him and pulled two caps in different colours from the racks. He spoke up before Harry could bring up about fifteen different stories with equally bad outcomes. "Now to the actually important things, which colour would suit me better?"

Harry burst out laughing at his attempt of lightening the mood, a red and a yellow cap clutched in both of his hands. Liam actually raised his eyebrows, waiting for an answer.

Harry shoved him lightly against the rack behind him. "Don't you have enough of those?"

Liam looked at him, a shocked expression on his face. "How dare you?!"

Harry laughed and turned away from him. "Alright, Miss Universe, buy them both. They suit you. Can we get on with this and actually go to the supermarket now?"

In the evening Harry got ready to go out. He had changed his plans slightly after Niall had called, asking if they would join him. Niall had met this girl he really liked and needed an excuse to go out with her without actually going out with her. So Harry had told his date to meet them at a club that had opened a few weeks ago.

A cousin of his worked there and could secure them fast entrance.

"So, who's ready to party?" Liam shouted from the kitchen, running into Harry's bedroom, bumping their hips to make room in front of the mirror. He looked at himself in the reflective surface and rearranged the black, big snapback on his feathery hair.

Harry shoved him aside and went back to sorting out his hair. "This is my room, you have no right to be bumping hips here. I didn't come up with the rules, it's the room its rules. I'm simply following them." Liam snorted, muttering, "You're lame." before running out of the room with as much energy as he entered with.

Harry fetched his jacket and keys off the kitchen table on his way out the door, following Liam.

Harry parked a bit farther from the busy club, so they wouldn't have to put up with the masses of people in the streets.

Allison, the girl whose number he had gotten in the coffee shop, was standing next to a lamppost and waved at them when she saw them.

As they approached her, she ran towards them, wrapped an arm around Harry's waist and kissed him on the cheek. "Evening, love."

Harry didn't like girls that were this clingy, or boys for that matter. Nor did he understand. They met seven hours ago and she was already physically attached to his body.

Niall was sitting on a bench in front of the club next to a gorgeous girl in a dress covered in bright colors and black glitters, Niall's black jean jacket draped around her shoulders. They spotted the group and got up. The girl was even shorter than Niall, which was practically a miracle in itself.

"This is Olive." Niall said, overly excited, with a large grin on his face.

The girl nodded as they introduced themselves. Her curly, black hair framed her beautiful face perfectly and her brown eyes seemed to glow in the dark, the light from the club's sign hitting her dark complexion. She smiled moderately at everyone. It was needless to say she was stunning.

Harry gave Niall an admiring look and threw his arm around his shoulders, leading him away from the group. "Now, where did you meet her?" he whispered.

He smiled, "Louis introduced us to each other a few days ago."

"She is gorgeous!"

"Hey! Hands off." he said jokingly and drove his elbow into Harry's side.

Harry held his hands up in the air. "I wasn't planning on anything, I brought my own date. And she is your date after all."

They parted, Allison took Harry's hand and Niall linked arms with Olive. Then they waited for Harry's cousin to let them in.
