All You do is Watch Nerd Movies CH 18

Gerard's POV

I never really understood the saying, you never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until now. Helena's life was a roller coaster that she couldn't get off of. She has lived so many places and seen so many things but she can still have a smile on her face. I try to see things from her point of view.

She never had a dad and her mom was always at work, so she had to learn everything that she knows by herself. She never really had friends except for a guy name Jimmy. He lives in New York and is in a band. She plays bass and she was in Jimmy's band for a bit until she moved again. This will be her last move until she graduates high school. She is only 16 and she has almost travelled the entire world.

"Have you ever had a boyfriend?" I ask. "No, I never really wanted one. It's one of those things that's in the back my mind, have you ever had a girlfriend?" She asks. "Yes, but only one. I don't really want to talk about it." I say taking a puff from my cigarette. "I wasn't going to ask. I could tell you weren't going to tell me about it anyway. It seems that this has happened pretty recently right?" She says. Oh my god, how does she know that? I think. "I'm going to take your weird stare as a yes," she says, "you told her you loved her but she didn't feel that same way as you. Well, her loss. Your a nice guy and your easy on the eyes." She tells me.

Okay its official, I'm totally into this girl. It's like she was there. It has been a month since *she who shall not be named* broke up with me. Don't think that she is my rebound, I think she's a really nice girl and she deserves better than me.

"Have you ever had sex?" She asked. I almost choked on my coffee when she asked. "What?" I ask getting back my breath. "I think it's pretty obvious that you heard me. Did you or didn't you?" She asks again. "...yes..." I say in a whisper, "did you?" She laughs. "What?" I asks confused about why she laughing. "I didn't think you would answer and no, I've never had sex." She says catching her breath from all the laughing.

We spend the next hour talking, laughing and looking at the sea. She's just so nice. I can't stop starring at her. I try to take her hand and she stops me. She looks at me the way that I look at her. "Do me a favour?" Helena ask. "What is it?" I say looking in to her beautiful eyes. "Kiss me," she says. I take her into my arms and kiss her like I never kissed anyone before. She kisses me back with the same passion I have.

"God, your something." She says to me. "We should get going, it's almost 6. We don't want you to get home late." I say with a smile. "Yeah, did Mikey text you? I thought I heard your phone ring." She asks. I look at my phone and see that Mikey did text me.

hey, where the hell are you? Frank is asking question and Ray just left. Get here soon!

"Frank is about to go crazy, lets go." I say picking her up and carry her to the car. "Oh my god, your crazy!" She yells holding on to me. "I know, let's go!" I yell back
