She challenged him in a way no one else did..

Cara Davis was the one girl Christopher Anderson couldn't have. She was unique and never gave him the attention other girls did, plus she was his best friend's sister. The girl was 'untouchable'. She...
What a beautiful way to wake up, the birds were singing, the sun was shining, and I couldn't of been happier to start my first day of school. Okay okay, that was a lie a girl can dream though? No but literally, I was sound asleep probably in my twenty fourth dream avoiding the fact that I started my very first day of school at a brand new school sooo much fun!!, and what a lovely dream I was havi- "Cara Davis it's almost half past seven! Why the hell are you still in bed? Aren't you excited to start your first day of school at WoodSides Academy with the one and only?" Harper said in an extra loud morning voice interrupting my dreams. I groaned in annoyance as I pulled the covers over my face, "Harper! You know my dream was actually getting pretty good" I yelled in my croaky morning voice. "You can sleep when you die now come on get out of bed don't make me come back and drag you out!" Harper yelled as he swooped out of my room as I tried not to laugh at his comment that made no sense whatsoever, but that's what I liked about Harper. He knew how to make negative situations positive with his silly sense of humour, he had the same witty personality as my mother. My mother died when Harper and I were really young, after that our Dad kind of lost himself. He would come home in the early evening drunk off his face. Harper knew it wasn't safe to stay around him. So when Harper turned eighteen, we moved out and got our own apartment. We were a wealthy family so it wasn't that hard to move out, plus I really enjoyed staying with Harper. He made me feel safe all the time unlike our father.
I slowly rolled out of bed not looking forward to the day ahead of me, because until today I was attending a different artsy kind of school, but then Harper insisted for me to finish my education at the same school as him, which I didn't really mind at first because I only had a few friends at my old school. But as of right now, I regret agreeing to my brother about moving to WoodSides. I flopped off my bed as I made my way to my closet picking out an outfit I had hanging from the night before, it was something simple yet something cute.

After changing, I hesitantly brushed my hair and left it down as it was straightened from the night before, I mean who was I trying to impress anyway? I practically ran down the hallway to see my brother finishing up his cereal. "Sorry you took too long, I would of made breakfast but here-" Harper said with a face full of cereal as he threw me a breakfast bar that I nearly dropped from his shitty attempt of a throw. "Yeah thanks for the amazing breakfast," I said in a sarcastic tone as I began to eat the bar leaning against the kitchen counter. "Any time sis and we should go!" he yelled, his voice suddenly changing as he looked at his watch."You can't be late for your first day." He said in a frantic voice as he got up from the kitchen table practically throwing his cereal bowl in the sink jumping up to get his keys. I rolled my eyes at him in a playful tone as I made my way out the door.
Finally making it to school, immediately as I got out of the car all eyes were on us. I couldn't exactly tell if it was because I was a new face or because everyone knew my brother. Oh did I leave the part out where my brother practically ran the school? I did didn't I. Harper was polar opposite of me, if you met both of us you wouldn't even think we were siblings. "You didn't fucking call me again last night!" A dirty blonde yelled as we just stepped in the school yard. I didn't recognise her at first but as she got closer I remembered. It was my brother's summer fling, Wendy Parkens. I rolled my eyes as she didn't even acknowledge me. "Yeah sorry I had things to do" Harper said in a bored voice. "More like you had other hoes to do! You said I was special Harper, why don't you love me?!" Wendy said In an agitated voice, getting extremely angrier by the minute. "We weren't even together Wendy, but I'm sorry if that's how you feel" Harper chirped pretending to be interested. "I forgive you baby, now remember to call me after school" Wendy said in a desperate-whiny voice as she kissed him on the cheek walking away with a sassy hair flick. What did he even see in this bitch? I thought.
"Man what the hell do you even see in Wendy Parkens?" A voice said behind me, as I was relieved to know that I wasn't the only one with a brain. "Christopher!" Harper yelled in an excited voice turning around which also caused me to turn around as well. Behind me was a very attractive- tall boy with chestnut hair who seemed to know my brother awfully well to be bro hugging him, and boy was he hot. "Cara this is my bro Christopher!" Harper said introducing me to his handsome friend. The boys eyes moved from Harper to me as he checked me out a little, I brushed it off as I was a little nervous. I put my hand out for him to shake. "I'm Cara, the better Davis." I said in a half joking- confident voice. "I can now see why Harper talked so fondly of you" He said shaking my hand acknowledging my comment. "Aw, Harper you talked about me while I was away on Camp?" I said in a half sarcastic tone. Both boys chuckled but as soon as Harper could speak again, a short blonde girl invited herself into our conversation as she stood right in front of Harper. "Hey babe, Friday nights party was hot, maybe we could do it again sometime or even.. now? She said as she licked her lips while I tried not to barf in my own mouth. "I wouldn't mind that" Harper said in a flirty voice not caring if Christopher or I were listening. "And I'm sure Christopher wouldn't mind showing Cara around while I'm gone" He said looking at Christopher hoping he would help him out. "Yeah I can do that" Christopher said biting his lip, looking at me which for some reason was giving me crazy butterflies. "I owe you" Harper mouthed as he walked off with the random girl leaving me a little disappointed. "Hey don't be upset, I promise I can make showing you around fun" He said In a sweet tone as his flirtiness was gone for a second. "Thanks" I said smiling as we began to walk.
