Legends of the Legacies - Beginnings and Introductions

Lawrence’s POV

All I wanted to do was to have nice morning when eating my sandwich. Then I would die about five times during English and then six during math. But here I find myself running with a bunch of strangers (well, two of the four of them are and that’s already half) and about to die eleven times over.

“Oh yah. We haven’t introduced ourselves yet. I’m Chloe D. Crystal. Eleven years old and legacy of Hades and Aphrodite. Also, I’m an otaku which means I kinda obsess over Japanese things. I would say it’s nice to meet you but I’m not so sure so I’ll figure that out later. Next is bronze glasses.”

She pointed at my brother.

“Ummm . . . My name is Michael. I’m also eleven. I’m good with most stuff, I guess and uhhh . . . I have a twin brother . . . Ummm, next?”

“Well,” I thought “I guess it’s my turn”

“My name is Lawrence Hui. I am the twin brother of Michael. Of course, I am also eleven and I like . . . Ummm . . . weaponry of all eras as my speciality I guess?”

Well, at least I tried my best.

“I’ll go next then. My name is Justin. Eleven years old. I Like ponies.”

This means that the last person is the boy that crashed into us. Wait, what is it about him? Jonah Ringrose . . . Where have I heard that name before . . . Ringrose . . . oh shi-

Michael said “ Oh my go-……”

“What happened?”

“It’s Jonah”

“What about him?”

“He’s dead”

“What!?”

“He’s dead.”

“It seems that…. that… he took several lacerations to the chest, that’s probably the cause of death.”

“Do his parents know?”

“They’re dead, same wounds, different area.”

“He’s got defe-

Distantly I heard someone yelling “Earth to Lawrence, Earth to Lawrence!”

“Finally! He’s actually listening!”

“What‘d I miss?”

“Not mu-”

I interrupted him to talk to Jonah “You’re supposed to be dead!”

Jonah unsurprisingly was stunned “Say what?”

“You don’t remember anything before your supposed death?”

“No, I don’t remember much, just impressions.”

“What happened after the attack?”

“I was found by a couple who took care of me.”

“And?”

“That was all, nothing exciting, it happened recently.”

Chloe decided we had chatted too much and interrupted us “We have to get to Camp.”

“What camp?” Justin said.

“Ummm . . . You might want to look in front of you . . .” Mumbled Michael. I looked up. There was two large pillars. Balanced on top, was a block of marble. Engraved on it, it said “Camp Half Blood”. As I looked at it, it seemed to flicker in and out of existence. It was a camp and then a regular field of grass and back again into a camp.

“Welcome to your new home!” Said Chloe. I didn’t think that moving houses would be quite that complicated…..much.

 

Jonah’s POV

I have no idea what is going or how I’m involved with it. But this is kind of cool? I mean sure, I’m running away from I think two cows and someone playing as a bull (I think) but at least that black haired girl that I just met has some kind of sword and she likes the big bang theory (I think), so that’s a comfort. At least now we’ve got a home and maybe safety? Well, I’m not so sure but I hope this new home of ours has a wifi connection ‘cause the new episode of the “Star Trek” series is coming out tomorrow night.

 

Michael’s POV

This is as confusing and ridiculous as those sci-fi shows: Star Trek, Dr Who and that…..  thing. I have no idea what the hell is going on! It goes against everything I know, and believe me, I know a lot. I’m a logical person, but I rely almost everything on facts so this is going to drive me insane if nobody is going to tell me what is going on.

“Would you shut up and get through the borders already?!? I’m trying to kill this minotaur and you’re just yapping over there and being stupid. Go through the pillars and you’ll be safe!”

Chloe shouted. She’s kinda annoying but she keeps us safe so I guess I’ll be friends with her.

“You probably shouldn’t go head on! You’ll have to stand there for one moment, wait for him to charge and then sidestep and stab him! If you don’t you’re as good as dead!”

This is annoying but I guess I’ll have to leave my life in a stranger I just met, And to make it worse, a girl I just met.

“You’re speaking aloud you know? I could hear that last comment of yours!”

Man, she’s annoying.
