You wake up to a skinny cat liking your face. "Ugh, go away, Buddy!" You say, pushing your cat off your face. You get up and step into your shoes. You walk to the mirror and look at yourself. Short, brownish blackish hair, with pale skin and dark green eyes. "Come on, Mark. It's just another day. You can do this." You brush your teeth and walk out the door. You walk to your school and into class. You sit down. "Okay, class, time to learn about butterflies." You sigh. This is gonna be fun, you think to yourself.
After 2 hours of learning about worms with ugly wings, you walk to the bathroom. You cover your face in water. "Ok, just 6 more hours and it'll be all over." Suddenly you see something fly behind you in the mirror. You turn around to see a big butterfly with blue and black wings. You've never seen such a beautiful butterfly in your life. You quickly grab your phone for a picture. You snap a picture of the butterfly, and it flies away, out a window. It closes. "When a window closes another one opens... right?" You never where really smart with these things. You walk out the bathroom and walk on like it's just another day. But while your in your next class, you see the butterfly again. And again in the next class. And again. And again. Again and again you see the butterfly. Even walking home, it would follow you. Eventually it flies the other direction. Finally, you thought. But then you feel something. A gut feeling. A feeling that you should follow that butterfly. But then a car pulls up next to you. It's Katie. "Need a ride?" "Sure" you reply. You hop in the truck and forget anything that ever happened.
