(Hi All, so I wanted to write this because it came to me in the shower)
.Mia's POV.
"You ready to go yet Ava" I yelled down the hall, Ava is my best friend we go to college together but we live in a apartment together which is great because besides Ava I really don't have any other friends. "Yeah i'm coming now, i'll lock up go jump in the car i'll be out in a sec" she yelled back I knew she wasn't getting ready cause she was laughing her head off so I knew she was on the phone to her boyfriend Niall, which is fine with me but she is always talking and hanging out with him and we rarely do anything together anymore.
"If you don't want to come you don't have to I don't mind" I said while putting my jacket on, "really your the best Mia, it's just Niall wants to meet up but you can take the car if you want" she said while running out of her room and hugging me. "Nah that's fine i'll walk it's only a 10 minute walk from here" I said picking up my bag and skates and walking out the door, just as I left the driveway I put my headphones in and listened to BTS. I had just arrived at my favorite place in the world at this present moment, I have always loved ice skating but I haven't had any lesson, just sort of taught myself.
I paid for my entry and sat down on a brown wooden bench to put my white and grey skates on, after putting my skates on and paying for a locker to put my bag in I headed straight for the ice, I had my headphones in because the music they play while people skate isn't the best and I can focus better if i'm listening to my music and I can't hear anyone else. At first I just started do laps around the ice like everyone else, then I started doing a few jumps and tricks. I kept doing that for another hour and half until I got hungry and got off the ice to get something to eat from the canteen, just as I sat down with my food I felt a tap on my left shoulder. I turned my head to see a tall curly haired boy standing behind me "I saw you out there your amazing, where did you learn to do that?" he said in a interested tone, "thanks, I just taught myself, I just really love skating I guess" I said. I felt my cheeks getting warm I guessed I was blushing no ones really commented on my skating before, I looked down so he didn't see but I think he did because he laughed lightly. "I'm Harry Styles by the way" he said sitting down next to me "oh yeah names i'm Mia Doe".
We talked for half an hour about everything, my favourite band which is obviously BTS his favourite celebrity and so on. "Wanna go skate again" I asked, "sure that's why i'm here" he said I chuckled a little. As we stepped onto the ice Harry took off like the road runner, leaving me to alost run after him but somehow I lost sight of him. Until I felt two hands on my shoulders then swirl me around, I just stood there staring into his emerald green eyes getting lost in his chocolate curls the way they hit his shoulders it was almost waves crashing into rocks. I mentally slap myself I hardly know this guy he could be a serial killer for all I know and know I could be his next target, I quietly laughed to myself but somehow loud enough for harry to hear "what's so funny?" he asked which snapped me back to reality, "oh nothing sorry just went into a world of my own for a minute" I said as I started to slowly skate next to Harry.
I started to do some tricks again before heading off the ice to go home because my ankles were getting sore and I had homework that apparently I have to do, "here's my number call me whenever" Harry said while passing me a piece of paper with his number on it. I had just taken off my skates and started to walk out the arena I felt a hand grab my wrist and quickly let go again "oh hey" I stuttered out as I turned to see who it was, "wanna grab a coffee?" Harry asked.
"Sure, don't really want to go home anyway, but I will quickly drop my skates home though" I explained, we walked to my apartment together.
