She had just gotten off of her fight from Bakersfield, California to Boston, Massachusetts. She was about to start a new life there with her friend, Kennedy. Her parents had let her go away on her own because she was finally eighteen. She was just about to get her luggage when...

Dante looked around the airport as he breathed in the smell of the humans. Nothing special was happening today but he needed new clothes and the easiest people to steal from were people who traveled, after all luggage got lost all the time. He glanced off to the right as he walked to the luggage pick up, not watching where he was walking. He smirked as he saw a pretty brown haired girl, with dark luxurious blue eyes. Maybe just maybe he would be able to get clothes and a small snack from this trip out. Dante walked up behind the girl leaning over to whisper in her ear, "Need any help, miss?"

" Please don't bother me, I am rather busy. My luggage has gone missing. But, thanks anyway.", Kaylee said in a sweet, elegant voice. But before he could say anything else, she ran off. Her luggage had not gone missing; her friend, Kennedy, had already picked it up. Kaylee was just texting her brother telling her that she had made it to Boston safely.

After a few minutes, they arrived at Kennedy's apartment. It was very small compared to what she was living in before. The apartment had two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. Kennedy's room was on the left, Kaylee could tell it was hers. Kennedy's room was painted blue with a red bed. Kaylee made her way down to her room. Carefully opening the door, she peered inside. Her room was painted a blood red color with a black accent wall. Along it was a bed. The comforter was a dark red with candy red pillows, made nice and neat just for her. On both sides of the bed were nightstands the table part was glass held up by black rectangular poles. Above the bed, perfectly centered was a picture of red roses. At the end of the bed was a black bench with a long pillow on it to put her stuff on, it had a white sheepskin blanket draped over the corner of it. Along the far red wall was a grey dresser with white nick-knacks on it and a place to set a picture down. One the the four walls was all glass, giving her a nice view of the ocean. Letting plenty of light in.

Kaylee spun around to face Kennedy.

"Kennedy, you didn't have to do this. It is way too much¨

¨Nonsense, I knew that red and black were you're favorite colors so I decided to pick out the furniture, and paint the walls your favorite colors.¨

My eyes went wide, ¨You did this all by yourself!¨

She smiled, "Yes I did.¨

¨OMG, thank you so much!!"I said, hugging her, then letting go.

¨You're welcome." She said smiling, "You should get some sleep.¨

I nodded, giving her another hug, and saying good night. I changed into my pajamas and got in bed, letting sleep consume me.
