Candyland

This world was made for you and I
To be careless, young and free
To watch the cotton candy clouds
And swim in the blue raspberry sea

We'll wade through green apple grass
Scaring Easter Peeps and larks
And hopefully, you'll pick for me
A bouquet of cinnamon hearts

We'll sit atop the pudding hill
And watch the cream soda stream
And we'll wait for the strawberry sunset
With you right next to me

Then, as the liquorice night falls
We'll walk home hand in hand
With Pop Rocks fireworks at our back
Our bare feet in the sugary sand

And at my door you'll give to me
Sweeter than the day has been
A little kiss upon the cheek
Under the porch light green
