Seeing your significant other in pain, pains you too. That's one way to know you're really in love.

So when I saw him with a pained expression, running into the kitchen, covering his right hand with a tissue full of bood, of course I got extremely worried.

"What happened?! Baby let me see." I tried taking a hold of his hand but he dodged and walked over to the first aid kit. I  tried not to crowd him but I wanted to see what happened and how so much blood was lost.

"Don't worry, it's nothing." He spoke to me after he disinfected it. Despite that, I was still worrying and took a firm grasp of his hand to see a deep cut in between his fingers and palm.

I felt tears well up in my eyes as I remember his expression  and can't imagine how much it would hurt.

I didn't know what to say. I hugged him, making sure not to touch his cut and gave him a tight squeeze.

"I'm okay." He may be strong but it doesn't mean something like this won't get irritated and hurt him again. I wanted my baby to be pain free and as happy as he can be (Whooo rhyme).

I moved back from the hug to inspect his hand again, looked up at him and said,

"Remember that I'm here, if you ever need anything, I will help you, okay?" He nodded and I finally gave him a smile.

This may not have been a big wound but something as small as this is enough to trigger my overly worried side.

After making sure he's disinfected it properly, I went back to the kitchen to prepare lunch. I say prepare but what I mean is to reheat last nights leftovers, spaghetti with chicken.

"Food's almost ready!" I shouted out at him to turn around to find him leaning on the fridge, looking at me with a smile. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Wanna make a cheesecake together later?" He shrugged and started walking closer to me.

I thought he was gonna hug me but instead he reached over me and took our plates of food and went the dining table. I laughed to myself while bringing our glasses of water and sat down in front of my food across from him.

When we finished eating, I was putting away the dishes when he suddenly hugged me from the back and snuggled his head in my neck.

"Are you sniffing me?" He responded by sniffing me like a dog and looked at me with a childish grin. I rolled my eyes and giggled at him to which he pecked me on the cheek.

"You're crazy." He told me and I looked at him confused.

"What did I do this time?"

"Nothing, you just are crazy." I shook my head at his silliness, put the last glass away and turned to face him.

"You love this crazy girl though." He chuckled and hugged me close.

"Of course." He gave me a kiss on the lips before walking away.

Looking at his muscular figure walking away made my day complete and picked my phone up to find cheesecake recipes.

Thank goodness for the internet. I found a pretty simple recipe but noticed that we didn't have double cream nor the cream cheese.

I sighed, not bothered to go shopping. I walked to our room to see him resting on the bed and I went to grab my coat.

"Where are you going?" I replied with,

"I'm going to the shop quickly to buy 2 ingredients for the cheesecake, wanna come?" I didn't expect him to come along but he jumped up from the bed and said,

"Yeah why not?" I stared at him while he put his coat and socks on and I followed him out to put our shoes on.

I couldn't stop smiling as we were walking down the street, holding hands.

I looked up at him while we were walking and he looked down at me with a confused face.

"Thank you for coming along." Such a tedious task now seemed enjoyable just because he's here.

"Why thank you?"

"Just cause." I shrugged and started skipping with each step.

Once we got home and took our outdoor clothing off, I went to the kitchen to start preparing.

I rolled up my sleeves and took out all the equipment needed.

"I want to help, what can I do?"

I handed him the biscuits, a rolling pin and a sealed bag.

"Here, you can crush them into fine bits for the base." He nodded but then asked,

"How many biscuits?"

"The recipe said about 225g? So half of the pack." He nodded once again and put the biscuits in and started smashing them.

I smiled while whipping the double cream and once that was done, he gave me the bag of crumbled biscuits.

"What now?" "Just add melted butter and put it in the tin."

After so much mixing, folding and putting together, the cheesecake was ready to be put in the fridge.

"Yay, we did it~" I jumped on him and he caught me. I hugged him tight and felt satisfied.

With the cake in the fridge, we sat down on the sofa together for a bit of rest and relax time.

"It's gonna be Christmas soon. We should do something even if we don't celebrate it." I looked hopeful while saying that.

"We can, that would be nice. Have anything in mind?" I nodded really fast and sat up on my knees facing him.

"We should go Winter Wonderland, I've never been there before." I suggested and hoped he liked the idea.

HE pulled me close and said,

"I've been there a few times with my family so I can show you around and it would be pretty good to go there with you once. They have nice churros."

I felt very excited when I heard his response and couldn't help but wiggle my feet in joy.

He chuckled at me and snuggled closer with me. I felt so warm and comforted in his arms. I've never felt this anyone before, not friends nor family.

When it came to dinner time, we made something simple and took out the cheesecake.

I quickly ran to our room and took out another card. I thought for a while and looked up the lyrics to a song which I then started to write on the card.

'Baby, I'm right here

I'll hold you when things go wrong

I'll be with you from dusk till dawn'

I went back to him and ate dinner with him. He gave me my slice of cheesecake when I decided to give him this weeks card.

"I thought you would've forgotten." I shook my head and he started reading it. I felt so happy when he smiled and this time I got up and hugged his sitting figure.

He stood up with me in his arms and he spun me around. I couldn't stop giggling but then he stopped and put me down. He started walking forwards with me in his arms, making me walk backwards until we reached a wall.

"Thank you baby." He whispered, our lips almost touching. I made a sounds of acknowledgment before he pushed his lips against mine.

I couldn't hold back a small moan as he parted my mouth and sucked on my bottom lip. When he pulled away, we were both panting but his lips were still close to mine.

"I love you so much."

I just replied with another kiss.
