I decided to do a little background for this...:)
you used to work in Wammys house as a teacher and helped the children and looked after them, you'd always had a special bond with near who is still currently at the House you love the children like they were your own.
But now ever since you saw your fellow detectives get killed at the station by Kira and you being the only one who survived, you've cooped yourself up in your house and refuse to leave and well......you act very much like L in the way in which you solve cases and have been looking at the Kira case for some time to get your revenge for your friends.
You and L have seemed to have hit it off right from the very moment you met, for the first time when you were interviewed to work at wammys house you have stayed in touch during the Kira case and L has been asking for your opinion and in exchange giving you information.

NOW......
I sat in my bedroom at my desk and went to pick up the post from the door, I quickly looked through and noticed there was a letter ,who's handwriting I recognised
"who could that be? no one knows my address apart from L and Wateri?" I thought to myself I took it back to my desk and opened it.

I was hoping you would come to visit me at Wammy's House as you have not come back since the shooting at your station , namely caused by Kira. Sorry to bring it up but there is a few question I would like to ask you about that particular case. I have a hypothesis but I need your opinion. But one of the main reasons I am writing to you is there is someone here who wishes to speak with you in person I told him I'd ask you.
But also I've missed you things have been very chaotic around here lately.
I hope you can come and don't worry I haven't been outside the House but Mellos getting restless and it's causing him to come out of line.

Near.
Was Near serious I haven't been out of my apartment for a long time but.....he genuinely sounds worried which is strange for Near I guess I should go.
I got my keys and grabbed my laptop and a box from under my bed and wiped the dust off it and headed out my door.
As I walked to the House I thought to myself:
"I know I just up and left visiting Near and the other children once in a while will be alright.....I at least owe them that much. I wonder who this person is who wants to see me"
So many thoughts ran through my head but only one remained as I came to the gates of Wammy's House and I walked through
"Finally back are we?"
I saw Roger as I came up to the desk where I signed in for visitors pass.
"Yeah, just for a visit though"
"Alright, their all very excited today already and now that your here they will be bouncing with excitement"
"Why's that then?"
"Well go to the main room and I'm sure you'll find out" H e replied
"Hm, alright then"
And with that I turned away and left down the corridor towards the main room and stopped outside the door bracing myself to get shouted at, I had been away so long what the children were angry? I 'm sure Judging by his letter Near had figured out why had left but the other kids.......
I grabbed the handle and went in and I'll never forget who I saw at that moment.
Sitting in a circle with the kids was.......L talking to them.
When they all saw me their eyes lit up , that made me feel so guilty for leaving, why did I ever leave I love these children way to much but, my how they'd grown.
"Y/N!!" they all shouted and got up to bombard me with questions and hugs ,some even cried into my top....
Then it was him I saw L just as he was when he's first met me his same position, same expression except.....there was something in his eyes something I really couldn't describe even if I tried.
When they had all calmed down I told them to sit back in circle and put my stuff down and told them I'd be back in a second.
The reason I had gone is well because Near wasn't in there so I went to the place I thought he'd be....his playroom. Yes, you heard my right HIS playroom I had helped him build it , it's completely separate to the main building it's more of a hut but very big! So I went over and knocked with the box in my arms.
I knocked three time and got an answer :
"y/n ", he said plainly and gave me a hug and I hugged him back and he invited me in.
"wow, this certainly has developed" I said looking round at all the toys and structures.
"thank you" he said and sat down in the middle of it all and I sat next to him and handed him the box.
"what's this?" he asked
"open it and see" I said
he did and it revealed a 10000 piece puzzle and an arubix cube
"have fun with them , I will come back a bit later"
"where are you going?"
"you said I had someone to see me , I already know who..why didn't you tell me I would have gotten here a lot faster"
I smiled at him and he smiled back and then turned back to the arubix cube he was already working on.
I walked back over to the main building and entered the main room again to discover them just as I left them with L speaking to them something about monsters?
I took a seat on the nearest chair and watched until I was discovered.
"y/n come a take a seat with use .....please?" One child named Eric said .
I agreed happily and sat down next to him and listened intently the children asking him question after question, a few hours passed and Near came in with his arubix cube and sat next to me still playing with it .
The questions continued until there weren't really anymore at all until...
"How close are you coming to solving the Kira investigation?" Near had asked it and he looked up at L from his arubix cube waiting for his answer.
L looked at Near almost...with a look of pity and then said:
"Well, I have got a suspect and.....it all depends on finding the right evidence to prove him guilty, Kira is a sly person confused himself with a God many people have now started to look up to him but......I will catch Kira I promise you all."
I look at him with admiration he'd been so straight with him, a bell rang and all the children ran out the room but Near simply walked after everyone had gone closing the door behind him.
I looked at L he looked at me.
"I have a question to ask you" He said
"go ahead"
"why are you catching Kira?"
I was silent for a moment .
"to revenge my fellow police officers and-"
"revenge isn't a good fuel for the mind to power on I find cake works just as well"
I laughed at this he hadn't let me finish.....
"not just for myself .....but for you as well"
"what?"
"err..well as I said for you"
"why?"
"because I want to make you happy"
".......why's that?"
".....well....it's because I like you"
"I like you to"
"no...not just as a friend but something...."
"something?"
"no....I - I love you " I mumbled
"come again?"
"I .love. you." I said and turned away from him.
"oh well that's good ...because I love you to"
"y-you do ?"
"yes ..if I didn't do you think I would do this?"
He then lent forward and kissed me and I kissed back how long iv wanted to do that I will never know.
"how long have you waited to do that?" I asked
"a lifetime..." he replied.
We then stood up and went to spend time with the children.
But ......later L died I did find out his real name and I adopted Near and helped him catch kira and it turned out...to be that kid I used to go to elementary school with.....Light Yagami.
But Near and I now live together and I take care of them and I go and help out at Wammy's House as a job.
