Her birthday was never something she'd call "special" it was truthfully just another day to her but she didn't let any old traditions die.
She was lonely, with her parents barely in her life she clung to whomever she could. She just wanted attention, so her bright bubble self was more than enough to gather it.

She projected her feelings on her face instead of pretending to be strong, she knew she wasn't and that's what made her special.
