The bell shook, along with the thunder of kids approaching the exit. Laughter roared, as waves of sounds blew up the hallway, not everyone had heard it, had felt the excitement of getting to go home for the night. Only a few teenagers had ignored the bell, but these students also couldn't hear the waves of sound, because they were upstairs in a somewhat non-used hallway of the high-school.
"Let me go, right now." growled Devon
"Shut up loser, you're such a freak, I mean what's even wrong with your eyes," said Eric
Devon didn't comment
He hit Devon in the face and then threw him into a locker. Devon got angry and when he was about to hit the bully, he noticed something, a phoenix, it was on his arm, he had never gotten a tattoo, what was this? Smash, Devon was down, Eric made collision, as if it were a train hitting a brick wall.
"Just let me go already, there's no need to fight, I mean it's getting dark outside, I have to head home" Devon said
Devon glanced at the clock, the hand on the clock wasn't moving, and it was only 3:06pm. But that's impossible isn't it, to be pitch dark outside at this time? The phoenix symbol on Devon's arm erupted him into pain. He screamed in agony, what is going on he thought, but before he could finish figuring it out, Eric threw another punch. But this time, it ended differently. When Eric made contact with Devon, he froze, his eyes lost all color, the hair rose on the back of his neck, and he started to lose color, as if the life was being drained out of him. It all happened so quickly, Eric was thrown back as if a barrier had suddenly started to protect Devon. The young man approached the bully, it was as if he had suddenly just, been depleted of all the energy, and life in his body. Who had done this? Devon wondered, was it himself? Devon was about to try and help Eric when his body suddenly turned into a dark mist. Devon felt more pain in the weird symbol on his arm, and then the mist Eric turned into was shot into the mark.
