I skipped past a couple of songs on my phone that I had no interest in listening to. Sighing, I ran my hand through my tousled brown hair, debating with myself mentally as to if I should get it dyed again. When I settled with a song I liked, I sat back in my computer chair, my eyes skimming the magazine that I had grabbed off of one of the stores shelves. It was my shift, 8:00-11:30 and I was in charge of closing. I worked at a crafts store that was connected to a strip mall of other small shops. It was quite the miniscule place in itself and only had two back rooms: a storage closet and a break room. I checked the time on the computer screen in front of me. It read 9:30. Sighing once more, I returned my attention to the magazine. Nobody really visited the store during the day let alone at night. I never once met a person who was really into painting at night or scrapbooking at half past nine. I tapped my foot against the edge of the counter. The only sound of store was the tapping of my foot and the annoying clicking noise the cash register made every few minutes. I wasn't even comprehending what was in the magazine, for my thoughts were elsewhere. That's why when the bell of the glass door chimed, indicating someone's arrival, I let out an irritated groan.

I placed the magazine back on its rack in front of the counter and rolled the squeaking computer chair up against the desk. I say up straight, peering over the slightly dusty granite counter top to see who the new arrivals were. To my surprise, there were four teenage boys, each looking to be about my age. My first thought was that if they caused any trouble, I didn't know what I would do. We didn't have a security gaurd seemingly enough. Who steals stuff like paper, glue, or glitter? Just incase, I made a mental note that my boss, Tom, had a baseball bat hidden underneath the desk. Just incase.

I cleared my throat, grabbing all attention from the four boys. "Uh, can I help you with something?" They paused for only a moment before one of them shrugged. He had dark hair, black skinny jeans, and a NASA t-shirt on. He was tanner than the others as well. He stepped forward a bit and cleared his throat too.

"No, we're just looking. Thank you though. We will ask if we need anything." He smiled, showing a set of dazzling white teeth. I nodded and looked back at the computer screen. I replayed his words in my head. Did he have an accent? I wasn't sure if he did or if I imagined it, but it was clear these four boys were new to the town. People could tell if someone was new since the town was so small and everybody basically new each other. I remember my friend Alexia having told me that one of the families that lived in one of the two story houses around the area had moved. Shaking the sudden thought from my muddled brain, I took this opportunity to observe these new strangers as they wandered about the store.

One of them was lean and fairly tall. They all had black skinny jeans on that stuck to their legs at an extreme tightness. He had extremely long (and very nice) legs that I admired for a moment. His blonde hair was streaked up into a quiff and the sleeves of his plaid button up were rolled up to his elbows. He looked over at me after having spent a few minutes looking around and walked towards the counter, his deep blue eyes skimming the racks of magazines and other counter top items.

At first, my breathing hitched slightly. I wasn't a very social person. Especially not with good looking people, such as the tall guy who was walking straight at me. He stopped in front of the counter, giving me a grin before shifting through the different magazines.

I heard a small smack, a giggle, and a whispered curse. I looked up and turned to look around the tall blond one to see the dark haired one picking up a package of paint and his brown haired friend giggling away. He had a red bandana around his head, his brown hair was slightly wavy and small curls poked outwards at the back of his neck. He had a Nirvana t-shirt on too. His giggle was contagious and I bit my lip to stifle a small laugh myself. I heard a chuckle to my left and jerked my head to the side. My brown eyes met with a pair of green ones and I stopped breathing all together for only a moment. The forth one, a stubbly faced guy with light pink hair and a Metallica muscle shirt. His skin was pale, but he looked absolutely mesmerizing. He was completely beautiful in every way and I found myself thinking about this and staring at him longer than intended.
