So, after the seven demigods (and Nico) defeated Gaea we decded to move on with our lives. Franked asked Hazel to marriage, and I am a bridesmaid. Jason asked Piper, and it was awkward. It was awkward because we were all there. And Percy asked me, and I couldn't have been any happier.
This is how it went down when we were at Central Park.:
Percy: Tonight sure is a beautiful night.
Me: What do you want?
Percy: *Crouches down on one knee* I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
Me: *Cups my mouth with my hands* Of course I will marry you, Perseus Jackson. But where is my ring? I'm not trying to be rude, but I am curious.
After that he pulled out a ring that had a gold band and a silver gem.
I inhale deeply. "Percy, I love it!" I shrieked.
"Did you look inside the jewel?" Percy asked me.
"Look inside it," he told me.
I looked inside."Wow! What is that? A city?" I asked, with enthusiasm.
"It's the city that you saw when the Sirens were singing," he said.
"How did you remember?" I asked.
"How could I forget? It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen," he aid, with a a huge smile across his face.
"How did you manage to make this?" I asked since I didn't see how this was possible without magic.
"I had Hephaestus make it for me. If you turn it over it has Eta on it. I didn't want it, but he said that I have to have it," he said, with disappointment.
"Oh, Percy I love it," I shrieked with joy.
"I hoped so." he said.
Afterwards, Percy and I went back to the beautiful smelling and looking, Camp Half Blood. We walked down to Percy's cabin since we knew it would be empty and we wanted a quiet place to talk.
"Annabeth, you surely have made me the happiest and luckiest man in the whole wide world. And I won't deny you the pleasure of having a wonderful husband. At least I hope." he told me once we were inside his cabin and made sure that the door was shut and that no one could see or hear us.
"Seaweed Brain, I already know that you are going to be the best husband ever," I told him.
