A bunch of feelings

The begining

    are you ready?- i heard my mother shout from the kitchen - yeah, i think i am. i lied, i wasn't ready to go anywhere it didn't  matter if it was to go on a 3 months trip  or  across the street to buy groceries. -    ok, just help me bring those bags downstairs. - the red ones, or the blue walmart  bags  on the kitchen corner ?-  all of them- she yelled back to me.- ok 

As i stumbled across the messy kitchen full of empty water bottles  and old pizza boxes , desesperatly trying to reach the bags my mother asked me too, a thought came across my mind.  " what if it dosen't work?" we  had been planing this trip since  my father mestiriously disapeared an year ago . She used to say that this would be the perfect distraction , and an amazing excuse to spend some time toghether. i still wasn't sure if i agreed. It wasn't something you could simply abstract from, but if my mom wanted to pretend like it never happend then i was more than ready to play along with her, she deserved it.

It was a beautiful day outside, the sky was in a relaxing baby blue shade, the flowers seemed more colorful than ever , and the sun shined so bright it almost looked like it was trying to smile. it had been a long time since the last time i was in my own backyard, im more of a stay-inse kind of person. the view from the deck was so mesmerizing it was almost hypnotizing. - hey, sleeping beauty care to help me carry these bags to the car or... ?- i smiled, there was something about my mother's aura that was...intriguing like a captivating kind of intriguing. - yeah , i was just ...looking i guess- she walked over to me- im glad you like it, i don't think i see you smile so often, it's great. - i felt her hand in my shoulder- yeah, it is.

we finally finished taking everything to the car. we barelly had space when entering but i still managed to sit by my mother's side. when i looked, she was holding an old map. - See this lake over here ? I think that's our first stop, what do you think Elly ?- the map made it look like it was close to our current location but it was still a bit more far than i expected . - humm... yeah i think we could pass by, its not that far, but... what i was really wondering is, what's our final destination?- she looked confused and uncertain, the car was filled with pure silence for 3 minutes until she turned back at me with a giant smile on her face.- that's the most exciting part! we can go literally everywhere Elly don't you see!- everywhere? that's a lot of possibilitys ...- can we go to japan?- she laughed - ok maybe not everywhere...- i could see she was waiting for me to make a decision-i always wanted to go to paris- she looked at me.- i don't know.. we'll see.
