Okay so most of you should know I'm really bad with poems but my friend really liked it so I hope you all do too ^_^
Don't Fade Away
The lights dim down and silhouettes paint monsters in my mind
While I hold onto the reality that you once shared with me
I don't think I can make it now
Not when your fading from my mind
Not when your leaving me here in this darkness all alone
Not when the memories you left with me are fading
How can you leave me when I'm down How could you fade away
The darkness surrounds these memories, leaving these silhouettes to taunt with what's left
I can't make it
No not with you gone
Not with you remembering all these memories while I forget
Not when all I had left is darkening
Please don't fade away
Not now when I'm trying to hold onto these memories
You told me all these beautiful lies that I so desperately believed
You told me these memories were just the beginning
But when those disguised lies faded only the end was left
The end is near as these silhouettes pull me in
I say goodbye as I make my one last plea
Just don't fade away, stay with me here and make this darkness disappear
