Chapter 1: Prologue

                       Asriel's POV

It all started after I came over to the city of Nibel ever since that terrible hurricane hit my home land a few years ago. I'm glad I learned English so that I could understand every one cause if not I've would have been a pendejo. I came from a land where animals and humans live together in harmony but yet it's different over here. Here it's killed or get killed....NAW!!!! I'm just kidding! Haha haha! Anywho. I entered Melodica high school a school of performing arts, music and every thing creative. Somehow I got into ranks of popularity (idk how tho cause all I did was just entered and bam shock to my surprise I'm suddenly popular?) I've meet alot of people who seem nice but even nicer yet is my Best friend Elliot. He's a dude with a wild persona he changes almost everyday that is when ever he's happy.
"Hey Asriel!" He calls me from across the hall even tho I wasn't that far to begin with.
"I could still hear you ya know..." I said with a hurt look.
"Oops my pardon see I'm excited and I tend to get loud but anyways I found a way to make new technology advances to my skateboard wanna take a look! You can even use it for a test ride!" He smiles big in excitement.
"What am I? A lab rat or somthin" I said just to get a reaction.
"So is that a no?" He pondered.
"I'm only playin' your experiments for tech is always advanced I might even be your lab rat for once" I laughed after his blank expression.
"Well then what are you waiting for! Let go meet me outside!" He shrieks abit in excitement as he runs downstairs like if he was on track.

Yet you should see him when he eats candy and he's excited. Last time I had to put him on a kiddie leash just so I can calm him down hahaha.
Now that I reached out side where there was a Crowed I made my way to the center.
"Excuse me thank you, xcuse me thank you Eliot I'm here!" I started panting on my way to him.
"Ok so I gathered everyone to day to look at....THE V-BOARD 8000!"He yells as he pulls the cover of his invention.
With this it will allow you to hover at extreme speeds. Not only that it uses 2 rechargeable lithium batteries for 12 hours of use and you can also put your music to it, best of all is the color system this has. It can tell your mood and it give three colors to know it's battery. Green for full blue for medium or half way and last but not least red for low battery." He explains as most of the people that gathered had left through out his explanation.
"Alright Asriel ready to use it?" He smiles.
"Hell yeah I'll give this pup a test!"
I grabbed the board and used it.
"Hahaha! What!? It's working! This is amazing." I stated as I flew around the school. I even flew by the library's window and everyone was shocked by me. It then suddenly malfunction and I ended up crashing but luckly Eliot caught my fall.
"Well it was good while it lasted" we both said in unison and laughed about it.
The bell rung and we had to go to our classes.
"Te veo hermano!" I told him.
"Yeah see you later bro!" He said as I went up stairs and he went to a technical room with his invention.
I headed up to the music room where I was at chorus one of my favorite classes.
"Ok class. We have a new student joining our class. His name is Austin
Come on up Austin." The teacher said and a lion can here nervous.

"Now class I expect everyone to give him a warm welcome and no Charles

I was in the front with the new student surprisingly he was good at singing. Today we were learning Hard work! From the play Fame. It was amazing to hear his voice. The bell rung for my second class as I headed to art. I wasn't able to see him but I hope he can make it given the fact he's another race. You see I'm human and in this city animals are treated with low standards. It's really really sad to see one that gets bullied and abused by the likes of my race. I just hope the kid is ok. Few more hours
And the bell for lunch rang. We all grabbed our lunch and ate. I sat next to Eliot trying to figure out what the hell happend to the machine.
He said that the cooling system wasn't working making it heat up and just malfunction. I was lucky the system shut down before it could have exploded and I could have gotten harmed. I looked around as I got bored over the convo since he was so focused on the machine he forgot I wasn't talking.
"Hey! Are you even listinening to me?" He tapped my shoulder as I look at him quickly as if I heard him.
"Mhm. As you were stating?" I said.
"See this part of the blah blah blah" I heard him speak he suddenly became
Muted as I close my eyes from how bored I was.
Casey my older sister came over and Smacked my head.
"Hey Dumba**, Hi Eliot." She said
"Hey dipsh*t" I said abit annoyed.
"Ooo grumpy much? Anyways...you got a dollar?" She asked as if she was desperate but I knew she just wanted money off me.
"No I don't you know I'm broke." I lied.
"Don't play the poor one I know you got money." She said.
"Then if I do then why would you ask me if I "have a dollar?" I mimicked then laughed.
"You know what f*** off!" She punches as I got up and punched her as a way to play. We both laughed.
The Same lion from my music class came here to ask for directions for Mrs. Arheart's classroom I told him to follow me since I got that class next.
The bell rung meaning lunch was over and Mr. Vervivion yelled let's go! On the top of his lungs.
"Loud one isn't he?" I said smiling.
He said nothing he just looked down as he followed me to class.
"Bonjour Mrs. Aheart!" I said.
"Bonjour Asriel Mon étudiant préféré
And who vis fellow?" She said as she asks about the new student.
"His here is Austin prowess he recently came here." I said as he timidly spoken.
"Salut c-c'est sympa de f-faire ta connaissance..."
"Ah! He speaks french too!" She was outstanded.
"Pero no sabes español." I said smiling
"But I can understand what you say."
He said as he opens up abit.
"Ok! Class is in session everyvne take a seat."
Everyone sits down as she said as she calls everyone for partners.
Lastly she calls me to be with him as everyone stares at us some stared in
Hate with their eyes and it scared him as if knives were pointing at him just for being with me.

I said to try to calm him down.
"Go back to the wizard of Oz cowardly lion!" Thomas said making fun of the way he walks up here. He looks down negatively.
"Shut it Thomas the tank engine."
I said making fun of his name and everyone laughed as he gets a tad salty but keeps it in.
"Alright that's enough everyvne back to work!" She said as she puts salsa music. (Play song skip to 1:05)
Everyone starts to dance but yet Austin doesn't know how to dance.
"I don't know how to dance...."
He looks to a side.
"Well I'll teach you it's very simple grab my hands and I'll guide you ready?" I said as I grab his hands.
"Yes but if I stomp on you it's not my fault cause I told you..." He grabbed my hands as I pull him abit close to me as I lead. Ok... up, back, back, up, reapeat. We repeat this motion multiple times until he was able to get it down. (He learns quickly)
"There you're doing it" I said as I smile.
"Thank you but let's change roles. I think I learned enough to be leader."
He said confidently.
"Ok then let...oh ok." He pulls me closer and starts controlling me as if I was a beginner just learning this.
I have him signs for twirls and many other tricks. The teacher was outstanded in how much improvement he was acing I felt like he lied about dancing but I'll just let it slide. "Twirl, up, back, back, up, repeat."
He commanded. "Side step, side step,
Normal pace."
"Alright I'll play your game." We kept dancing until we got lost in the music
As we did a show. Everyone looked at us and clapped cause of the excitement but stopped awhile after.
We both were panting. (Stop music if playing)
"I got to admit you're a good dancer."
I said.
"Not bad for a beginner huh?" He said as he laughs abit.
"Bravo! C'était Extravagant!" She says as she looks at the time.
"Alright everyvne pack up and hit ze road!" She said as the bell rings
"As for ze two of you come here."
She yells us.
"Yeah Mrs. Arheart?" I said.
"I want you two as partners forever in
This class" she says
"Ah really?!" He was shocked
"B-But I can't simply dance w-with him."
"Why not?" She ponders.
"I'm just afraid everyone will look at me as if I don't belong."
"Don't pay attention to them. If you got any problems just come to me. Ok?"
"So is this a yes?" She says with excitement.
"I guess so..."He said with a sadden time but then began to smile.
"Alright so I'll catch you later!" I start to run but he calls me before I run.
"Hey wait! Here's my number for you to text me!" He gives me a paper to call him.
"Alright see you!" I bolted outside grabbed my electric scooter and head out the door.
