"Boarding School. You mean a school that you live at all year? Like college but high school." I said to my dad and step mom who were sitting on the couch across from the chair I was sitting on. They nodded and looked at me with sad expressions.

"Well, love, you know how tight the money is." My dad said to me.

"But why does James get to stay with you? A two year old cost's more than I do. I'll only eat one meal a day! Or even snacks!" I said exasperated.

"Don't worry, you'll be going to your Uncle Charlie's school! You guys will get to catch up, and there is no uniforms!" Dad said hurriedly.

"James is a baby, you are seventeen. Don't argue with your father Molly." My stepmom said to me.

"First of all, just because you married my dad doesn't make you my mom. She's dead and no one is going to take her place. Second he cost's more money than me. Diapers, special baby food, creams for when he gets a rash. How could sending me away help you guys at all."

"You are going and that's the end of it." She told me. My blood boiled and I got up and walked out of the house.

My favorite hiding spot from everyone was the tree house me mom and dad built in the back yard. I climbed up the ladder and lit a few candles so I could see. I've definitely upgraded since I was a kid. The only thing that stayed the same was the cork board with photos of me and my parents.

While looking at the photos I took my pack of cigarettes out and lit one. As I inhaled the smoke I could feel myself calm down a little bit. Every time I looked at the picture of just me and mom in the yard my chest hurts a little. I looked just like her. Big brown eyes, long brown wavy-curly hair with a slight tinge of red in the sunlight, and freckles scattered on my face. The only differences between us were our weight and my need for glasses. When mom was alive I was over weight, but now I've got a large chest, a round bum, and curves that make a man's head turn.

When I was done my cigarette I walked back into the house and up to my room. There were big boxes sitting in the middle of my floor. I took a deep breath and came up with a plan. New school. I could change who I am, make friends. I had money saved up from jobs I've had here and there and it was still only six p.m. With that thought I got into my car and drove to the mall.

After my shopping I went into the house and into my bathroom. I put on my hair dye t-shirt and prepped the dye I chose. When my transformation was done I looked at myself in the mirror with one of the new outfit's I bought. Nodding my head approvingly I knew I was ready to take on Riverwood.
