It was a dark morning, just like every other morning in Lindon Parks. No one thought anything of it. No one questioned the fact that there were no cars on the road, no leaves on the ground, no sun in the sky or the fact that everyone had the same black coarse boring hair because that was normal. It was normal for it to be dull and lifeless, it was normal for people to look the same, act the same , talk the same, walk the same and to even fear the same things... The most common? Change. Of course that's where Leila Faith Gibson comes in. Her Scorching Fiery Red lochs cascading down her back flowing in gentle curls that reminded anyone of lava. One of her eyes is green, the kind of green that sparkles in the sunlight but hide in the darkness, the kind of green that remind you of spring, the kind of green that distracts you from everything, the kind of green mint ice cream would be jealous of. Whilst the other is the the type of brown that was like a sweet chocolate. The chocolate that melts at the slightest bit of the heat from love, or happiness. The freckles that are scattered across her nose are like stars in the sky. The way she smiles just can make anyone feel at home or just plain happy. But because she looked different... People treated her differently... poorly. The chocolate in her brown eye grows hard from the cold harsh reality that is apparent in this world. Heartbreak, or the depression that she hid from all those around her so well. The glow in her green eye was dim as she covered it up with a contact. Her curly red lochs were soon straight and black. The freckles on her skin were covered with makeup and her smile became fake and lifeless. All she wanted to be was normal... But is it worth it?
