The Fallen (Vampire Knight Love Story)

Beginning

Kiyoko's P.O.V~

I opened my eyes, staring at the celling. It was time to get up. Looking around my "room" all i could see was the recognisable pure white paint that it was covered in, the pure white room with no windows. I was just how i liked it because i could put all my imagine in it and it would be full of colours. Plus, the windows would keep me away from the world, the cruel world we call "Earth."

~Violent coughing~

Tainted, blood sprawled on the white floor as i proceeded into a coughing fit, spilling out my blood. Rejecting, my body is rejecting blood, even my own blood. I guess i don't have much time. I though, sadly. I guess it was time to start my plan, it was time to go to Kaien.

I walked over to the olden style phone which was white and made of wood, calling Kaien. "Hello, hello~ This is Kaien speaking" said the carefree sounding man. "Kaien, its me Kiyoko. Its time, i'll be arriving at Cross academy soon, put me in the Day Class" I reply. After waiting for a while, Kaien's voice came through but the once carefree and happy voice was replaced by a stoic and serious one.

"Kiyoko, is this really what you want? This fate? Its too cruel for someone like you, its too sad, this....this loneliness. I don't want you to live this way. I want you to feel happiness and joy. I don't want you to suffer.... Why? Why do you protect a cause that has never benefitted you, I can't believe as a Vampire Hunter I am urging you, look at the point you've pushed me to. Please try, try to live for me, for that person and for yourself." He pleaded.

"Gomen, (I am sorry) Kaien, I can't. I am already at a point where i can't turn around, its too late. At that fateful day, when i decided this, my body started rejecting blood. Its gotten to the part where its rejecting my own blood. You know this Kaien, you know i cannot go back now. Hear my plead and let me do this Kaien, it is the only thing i have left in this world. Sorry Kaien, i am truly sorry." I pleaded.

"Ok if thats what you want Kiyoko. Remember i am here for you, you can rely on me," with that Kaien ended the call.

Ok. I thought, it was time to pack my stuff. I walked over to my en-suite and grabbed my empty canvases, paintings and art equipment, then i went to put them inside a big white wooden box. Now my clothes, I went to a cardboard that contained dresses, shirts, jeans, baggy pants, sweats and lastly overalls. Most of them were new and indeed very plain. It was because i had no use of fashion or looking good, i just wore an overall covered with paint and inside was a plain white t-shirt.

Now it was time to pack them, i picked up another large white box and put the clothes inside. I had already ordered for my living necessities in another box that is currently transported to the school.

Looking at the clock i found out i still had about half an hour till the taxi arrives. Might as well work on my painting, i though as i grabbed my brush.

~30 minutes later~

-Knock-Knock-

Looks like the driver is here. I went to outside to welcome the driver in, as he went in he took my boxes and we set of to cross academy.

2 hours later~

After the long ride i was finally here. Cross Academy, i wonder how interesting it will prove to be... As i walked up to the iron gates i saw an all too familiar face. Kaien. As usual he had his carefree face on, smiling like everything was ok. But it wasn't, it never was and never will be.

Kaien P.O.V

I was here outside the gates waiting for that stubborn girl. She really just had to make me worry didn't she, she really just had to torture herself didn't she, i thought sadly. I remember the time i first met the mysterious beauty, it was when i was sent for a mission, one of my first.

I was so young and naive that time, thinking i could handle a aristocrat vampire my myself. That was when she came, when she used her life source to save be. She really does love humans, i smiled to myself, yes she does, always helping them in need, even when they were cruel and betray.

She was so fragile at that time, well she still is, but she was certainly very powerful too. Thats when i snapped out of my thought. The icy beauty had arrived, still looking absolutely gorgeous. OH! If only you could be my daughter, then i would protect from the people i am suppose to be protecting.

Stopping my train of thoughts i walked up to her and gave her a bear hug, "Welcome Kiyoko, i hope you enjoy it here" I whispered, "Thanks Kaien, will do" said girl, in an angelic voice.

"Kaien?"- Kiyoko

"Hmm?"- Kaien

"Can you please take my stuff, i would love to look around, please"- Kiyoko

"Of course" I said, "I will later send someone to pick you up and show you to your dorm, ok."

"Ok," was all i heard before she went to get her sketch book and drawing equipment, disappearing into the night.

Akatsuki~ P.O.V

I followed Ruka to the forest where she wanted to take a walk, planning to arrive when it was time for night class (around 5:50 right now). It broke my heart to see her like this, after witnessing her see Kaname and Yuki together. I had loved her since we were kids and i still do, and i am pretty sure i would do anything to make her happy. Your happiness is mine, Ruka.

We walked further into the forest until i felt a presence. Strange, i thought, this presence is very weak, too weak in fact.

Whilst Ruka continued walking i ventured off into the forest. And there i met a breath taking creature, not as breath taking a Ruka but still very beautiful. The said girl seem to be off in wonderland as she started prancing around, through the trees.

She had very little self awareness as she didn't notice my presence when i was right next to her. Taking in her features, she had amber, pink hair and was wearing a overalls with a white shirt underneath. The overall was smeared with paint and she had a sketch book and art equipment in her hair.

An artist, huh? I thought, smirking for some reason. And the suddenly she turned to my side and my eyes widened, i was faced with cold light blue eyes which i could lose myself in. She looked at me with an emotionless faced and befor i could respond Ruka called out to me. "Akatsuki where are you," i turned around and shouted I am here and when i turned back to try converse with the girl, she disappeared into thin air.
