Falling For Him

Welcome to my life

I was laying in bed, probably looking like a crazy person with my body everywhere, just the norm I guess. I'm awoken by the blinding light of the sun, as my mom opens the curtains
"C'mon Casey get up, you'll be late for school"
I groan in frustration as I know I will end up in that prison one way or another. I lay there for another minute or so and finally force myself up.

Not caring about the mess on the floor, I walk over to my closet and grab a black T-shirt, some jeans and who knows what shoes I pulled out from the pile. I through them on and go downstairs to breakfast. When I walk down I smell what seem to be, pancakes?

"Happy birthday!" My family cheer as I reach the bottom of the stairs. That's right, my birthday, I'm finally 16, I guess today might not be so bad after all.
"Thanks guys" I sit down at the table and my dad gives me a nudge in the shoulder
"Hey aren't you gonna see what we got you" he says with a grin, as he looks at my mom, who also smiles. I get up and walk out, where I see a brand new Ford Mustang.

I turn to my parents and hug them
"Thanks guys, this is the best thing I could ever have asked for"
"Awe it's ok hon, we're glad u like it" my mom says as she hands me the keys
I hug them one last time and go to my car, and drive to school

When I arrive, my two mates are already waiting at the front. Couldn't ask for better friends.
I'm greeted first by Andy, who comes running to give me my annual birthday noogies. As you can tell, he's the hyperactive one
Following behind him is Lloyd, the mature one.
"Happy birthday Casey" he says as he gives me his bro hug
"Thanks guys, this is turning out to be one of the best days ever!"
They both smile and both seem happy for me
"Well I'll see you two in class"
"Yea you too" they both say and walk off
